The staff was friendly and professional. The room itself was nice. It is the bath room that left me feeling off. Fist off for $165 a night i expect better conditions the shower curtain and rod are in very sad shape. I was almost afraid to even touch it that it might come down. After a very long day of walking I thought a hot bath to soak my ankle would be nice. We'll the tub plunger does not work. Thought ok I will just use a wash cloth to plug the drain. That is when I noticed the mold in the jets of the tub. I opted for a very quick shower. Oh also the shower head was not even on correctly. I would think a place that was recently renovated and charges almost $170 a night for one person would be in better condition. I lowered this to one star due to the response given. The fact that the tubs do not have functional jets (why have jet tubs if they are not functional?) and the lack of an offer of any kind to make it right. A refund of some kind or a comped room would have gone a long way in showing a sincere apology.

Love that this place has a kitchenette which is very convenient. The bed was comfortable, room was pretty clean, shower pressure is better than the Westin. It’s also very close to downtown seaside so you don’t really need to drive as it’s walking distance. They also have cookies at the front desk (I would suggest having them in a jar of some sort or even a dome just so it’s not out in the open and would give a better presentation) I gave it 3 stars because the walls are super thin, so I felt like I had to be super quiet not to disturb anyone since I’m a night owl. You can hear your neighbors tv (it wasn’t super loud but the walls were thin). You can hear them bathing their children. Children crying when you walk thru the hall. The room was also kind of muggy so I kept having to open the window for circulation. There’s also no blackout curtains which was a bummer because I haven’t been to a hotel w/o blackout curtains for awhile so I was waken up pretty early by the morning light beaming in the room.

Overall I will say 5 stars. I booked this room for myself and my service animal last minute, got a good rate, and overall the stay was very good. The carpets in the room do show wear and tear and what looks like either drink or pet urine stains in a few spots which is 100% the biggest negative. The rest was positive. Their ADA compliant rooms have spacious easy to navigate bathrooms plenty of space to move around, and comfortable easy go get into beds. The TV was large; a good mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker set up, they have a pool and hot tub, and they serve breakfast which was waffles, and some hot sausage gravy; pastries; boiled eggs, yogurt and more. Not a true continental breakfast but still very good especially given the price. I also did not have any issues checking in, received a parking pass, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and aware of ADA laws and compliance and the two legally allowed service animal questions, and made my stay amazing. We will be back in the future!

This might be one of the easier 5 star reviews I ever give. They don't come often and especially not for a hotel least of which happens to be on the Oregon Coast. Nothing against hotels on the coast what they lack in accommodations they more than make up for in location.

Let me first start by saying do not have reluctance based off of some of these negative reviews. I find myself to be incredibly picky and tend to keep standards relatively high for hotels as I don't like wasting money at a place I am only staying couple of nights and never go there for the hotel but instead of the destination that the hotel happens to share an address with.

The rooms are decently remodeled. Yes it could use a second or third set of eyes on the one we stayed in. The beds are average with no real complaint. I tend do enjoy a firmer mattress which these are not but they are not a soft pillow either. The sheets and bedding were clean as was the rest of the room upon entry. Behind furniture was even clean (yes I looked)

The room is also well equipped with more than enough plug ins by the bed and the desk. Both USB and standard outlets are on top of both surfaces. The TV was fine but its not smart which is a let down. They do offer a DVD player ours was rather temperamental not wanting to turn on or eject movies from time to time. Speaking of which they have a decent library of take as you please movies which my son enjoyed thoroughly.

The A/C was nice when needed, although it was only in the upper 60's all week which is the norm for Seaside. The fridge, microwave and Keurig also worked as you would expect. P.S. The fridge does have a freezer pocket. Its not going to freeze anything but keep it really cold so don't bring home a pint and expect it to last too long.

As far as the rest of the grounds. The dog area is adequate but I feel bad for guests along the first floor on the west side as that area sits right outside their windows. Additionally the pool is very small but clean. And don't expect the whirlpool/spa as it looks to be forever gone :( This was a letdown for my wife.

The breakfast wont really pertain to anyone after this morning as they will stop serving the to-go boxes and move to a serve yourself but return to your room breakfast soon enough. I will say the breakfast's were fine. They have quiet a few options of boxes to grab from cereals to sausage sandwiches, juices, milks, and coffee and tea(make it yourself).

Moving onto the staff both cleaning and front desk. They were both great. Cleaning staff were only seen once in the morning but they were very nice and took care of our messy room which I know is expected but nice to see as they didn't miss a spot.

The front desk staff was great every day morning or night. They were helpful with information and even had some batteries for my sons little RC car he wanted to play with. Also we came as it was a birthday weekend and my wife called ahead the day of to let them know and we walked into a room with some balloons, salt water taffy and ribbon decorating the bed. Very nice tough and just great to see them be so accommodating. We will becoming back to this location again which might be the first time we have ever said that about a place in Seaside.

I had to shorten my long novel but you can read the entire...

Below is my original review which I feel is polite and professional. I just was giving constructive criticism. Under my original review is the response from the FRONT DESK on another platform. The response from the FRONT DESK was even worse then my slight criticism. The front desk basically had no accountability but excuses. I DID ASK for towel service which was never even attempted the three days we were there. The cookies aren't that big of a deal but, when nothing else is available NEARBY, it kind of is. To be accusatory that it's my fault that I didn't get fresh towels is unacceptable. I certainly did request fresh towels. Then you want my 84 year old mother and me to hunt down a grocery store in an unfamiliar area just for a soda is ridiculous. The final straw is when I was told by the front desk response that another hotel may be better for me in Seaside .I've stayed two other times and liked it. But you seriously think telling me to go to another hotel that fits my needs instead of apologizing for some issues is good business? I will take you up on that offer.

The experience was decent but there is definitely room for improvement, especially for the high price. It was a great location. The room was ok but the covers and sheets were so short on the bed which was not that comfortable. When we checked in we were told we had to call and schedule housekeeping. Ok, that sounds kind of a pain so we just requested fresh towels as we weren't going to be in the room much. Of course, zero fresh towels. I guess if we were desperate we could have went to the front desk, but should not have to do that. Then to top it off, if you need a soda or snack and all you have is cash, then you are out of luck. The vending machine is like something from 1995. A machine with just 12 oz drinks and does not accept credit cards, cash only. Normally not a big deal. But after a certain time, past 8, there is nothing in the vicinity for anything to get a drink or snack. The pool was ice cold, which explains why nobody was in it. I did like the free bike rental. It was a nice touch.

Response from front desk on Jul 19, 2024

Hello Rick, Yes housekeeping is only by request, If you requested for just your towels to be changed out and not actual service that is not our fault. We always have homemade cookies available we have been sold out the last couple weeks so I'm sorry if you missed the chance to grab some when they were out. Our vending machines do have chips and candies in them as well not just sodas, yes our vending machine only takes cash. We actually have 2 stores nearby in the downtown area plus a Ride Aid and a Safeway. I'm glad that the beds and air conditioning were all good for you. I would suggest maybe a different hotel the next time you come to Seaside, maybe one that will better fir your needs. Have...

I was seeking a clean and safe place to stay that offered a kitchenette while I visited the coast. This room had one! My initial interaction with the staff person was very positive. She was incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful in getting me situated. The room was exactly what I needed and wanted. Most importantly, the bed was incredibly comfortable. I slept great each night, and I wasn't expecting to be so comfortable. ||The location of the Inn was great for my needs and wants as well. It was close to the ocean, boardwalk, restaurants, and surrounding area with outlet stores and even to Cannon Beach, and hiking trails not far away. Somehow it managed to be relatively quiet and peaceful so I could sleep at night with the windows open. I was also able to park my car in the lot, which felt safe. I managed to leave with minimal seagull poop, too. ||Breakfast wasn't anything special, and actually my one of two disappointments was the horrible coffee. I liked that they offered coffee, tea and hot cocoa 24/7. My room at the Inn offered a number of amenities of home such as a microwave, fridge, dishes, sponge, soap, paper towels and ability to use the laundry or access DVDs, were so helpful. There was also a really good selection of cable TV for the evenings. I never got to use the pool, but I really felt like this was a home away from home. When the other guests had dogs that barked it was annoying, but it wasn't all day long thankfully. ||I would say that my room could have been cleaner in areas. I felt the tub and dishes/kitchen counter top were not cleaned entirely. I carry Clorox wipes with me so i took care of that, and I made to sure to wash the dishes before I used them. Otherwise, it's always interesting having that much carpet in a room near a beach. I managed to keep it minimal. I think hardwood floors would help with cleanliness.||I appreciated the general hospitality and friendliness of each staff person that I engaged with. There was only one person that wasn't friendly, but I'm thinking she had an issue of some sort because the kids (guests) at breakfast that day were creating chaos when it was really busy. She only smiled and greeted me on the third of four days I was there. The last day was a another staff person. The folks at the check out desk were incredibly helpful and...
