SaltLine Hotel: The Perfect Every Holiday Escape Our family’s stay at SaltLine Hotel in Seaside, Oregon, was nothing short of extraordinary! We arrived after a long drive from Portland, and from the moment we walked through the doors, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality that made our holiday truly special.❤️ The two gentlemen working that evening went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They baked us fresh cookies, had the housekeeper prepare a thoughtful doggy bag for our fur baby, and allowed us to enjoy the pool and hot tub until 11:15 PM. After hours in the car, that extra relaxation was exactly what we needed. 😎 The breakfast spread the next morning was a delightful surprise! There was such a variety of options, from strawberry-battered waffles to breakfast sandwiches. I especially loved making a bagel sandwich with scrambled eggs, salsa, and fresh avocado—it was absolutely delicious. The attention to detail in the breakfast offerings really set the tone for the rest of our stay. Despite being caught off guard by some Oregon Coast weather, SaltLine’s resilience is impressive. This allowed us to stay cozy in our room, snacking on cookies and watching Netflix while the storm raged outside at night — It was the perfect blend of adventure and comfort, and we were so grateful for the hotel’s hospitality during the rain! 🌧️ What truly stood out was the staff’s commitment to meeting every request. Whether it was extra towels or baking a fresh dozen cookies just for our family, they went out of their way to make us feel cared for. Their kindness and efficiency were unmatched, especially given that we we stayed luring the peak of the season💛 The hotel’s location is another highlight—it’s so close to the main strip! While the weather didn’t allow for much walking, we took a quick drive into town and found plenty of shops and restaurants still open, adding to the festive holiday atmosphere. We ended up at the arcade as well as pig and pancake and a couple other places like Finn‘s Fish House just so we get a taste of every little thing while we had our holiday away! 🐠 SaltLine Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. From the impeccable service to the thoughtful amenities and prime location, it’s clear that they prioritize their guests’ comfort and experience. This stay felt like finding a hidden gem, and we’re already planning to make it a tradition to return each winter from October through February (Outside tourist season).🌊💕 Thank you to the incredible team at SaltLine Hotel for an unforgettable holiday experience. We can’t wait to come back!🌊 #placestovisit #hotels #oregoncoast #familytravel #petfriendly @TheOregonCoast

We had a great 2 night stay at Saltline Hotel in Mid-November as a break to the coast. Got a great rate on Hotels.com for the Luxury Suite, King bed. This came with a sitting area that is separated by a 3/4 wall which is nice if your an early riser and don’t want to disturb your partner. Nice big bathroom with a jetted tub, good amenities including coffee, microwave and refrigerator. The room had plenty of outlets and dedicated USB charging outlets for all your electronics and the TVs had accessible HDMI ports if you want to bring your Roku, Chromecast or Fire stick to stream. Great big lobby where you can gather with friends around the gas fireplace, do work at some of the long tables. They also have a selection of board games, which was great since we happen to go down during a bomb cyclone storm (which, unfortunately meant we couldn’t use any of the outdoor amenities). We enjoy a rousing game of Yahtzee each night. They also have a fairly good free hot breakfast buffet. Nothing fancy, but enough to get you fueled up in the morning. Front desk people were friendly as well. Also, parking was plentiful and it located 2 blocks to the beach/Promenade walkway and to main street shops and amusements. The only reason I took off 1 star is that one of the reasons we like to do a mini break in the fall/winter is to spend time in an indoor pool and hot tub. At the time we went the pool was on the chilly side of a heated pool. Too cold to swim for me. And the hot tub was also under heated, I would have put it at about 80-85°F which is what I would expect the pool to be heated to. So we couldn’t spend the amount of time we wanted to. Also the room WiFi kept going in and out (but it could have been the storm) But other than that great trip, and we would definitely book again some time in the future.

I found SaltLine Hotel through Google Reviews. I was in Seaside, OR for a conference. Pros: *The front desk reception performed great customer service and provided the information for all accommodations. Was even offered a cookie. *Free parking and the hotel staff provided a parking pass for your vehicle. *Free continental breakfast bar was good especially the coffee with enough tables to sit and eat. *Kids play area. *Love the atmosphere and esthetic of the hotel exterior and interior. *Indoor salt pool and jacuzzi. *Gym. *Elevator. *Clean King bed room with a balcony and bathroom with a mini refrigerator and ac cooler. *Literally within 10 minutes walking distance from the beach and Seaside Carousel on Broadway and the tourist spots. *The city itself was beautiful. Cons: *AC was loud and it appeared to be cracked open and would not close. *Elevator is a bit wonky. *I was hoping for a beach side view, but the view from my room was surreal with the mountains surrounding the city. *I was on the 3rd floor, but during night I could hear loudly people running up and down the stairs with doors slammed and loud chatter. *In my first night there the room next to me had dogs barking constantly which didn't stop until about 10p. I didn't want to be a Karen and complain. Conclusion: Overall, my stay was pretty good I felt welcomed. I felt safe and secure. The breakfast was good. The cleaning crew was great. The room was cozy. The city itself was beautiful. If I ever travel to Seaside,OR again, the SaltLine Hotel will be my go to spot from now on. I highly recommend this hotel.

We recently stayed two weeks ago. There were highs and lows. To start we pulled into the parking lot and saw an employee come out for a smoke break. We took our time parking and grabbing a luggage cart and unloading the car. We rolled into the front desk, past the employee, who clearly saw us and didn't say a thing and kept on smoking. We ended up waiting about 3 almost 4 minutes for him to come back inside and check us in. I won't saw he was mean but he certainly wasn't friendly. We got to our room and it was nice! The beds were very comfy and we enjoyed the linens. Down side is that you could hear everything and everyone, all night long. This hotel is very geared to families, which is why we chose it, but we heard people all night long. So if you are a light sleeper or have really young kids that go to bed earlier, maybe pass on this hotel. Our other complaint was the pool. There is absolutely no seating. They have these teak shower stool things around the edges of the pool but everyone puts their towels on them and other personal effects. There was a long bench too but same thing, everyone put their stuff of it. When I was lucky enough to grab a stool, I was splashed by kids jumping into the pool. This was because there wasn't enough space between the end of the pool and the walls. So, literally everywhere is a splash zone. There were two families there that obviously knew each other and were so inconsiderate of the other pool guests. They let their older child scream at the top of his lungs over and over again. People were obviously annoyed and kept giving the parents dirty looks. They eventually told him "settle down buddy". The pool is right next to the front desk and you could hear this kid from the lobby. I have no idea why the front desk didn't step in and ask them to stop screaming. The kid was like 12. So even though we tried to enjoy the pool, rude guests with screaming kids ruined it. We only lasted a half hour the first night before we couldn't handle the screaming any longer. The second night the family was there again but left about 20 minutes after we got there. The free breakfast was ok. The waffle makers timer wasn't working though. We were also bummed to see they didn't have the fire pits going during our stay. But they did have a nice little outdoor area with a play ground. The best thing about this hotel was the location. Literally a block or Two from the beach and walking distance to everything you'd want to do! I can't say we'd stay here again though. I also forgot to mention our shower was not properly cleaned and we found brown splatter along the shower head wall. It was gross. Other then that the hotel was very clean! Would give the...

This was quite the ordeal. It started out as a bad situation but ultimately turned out well, thanks to Sandra at the front desk!

This was an anniversary trip planned for my partner and I. As a special surprise for him, I booked the studio suite and added the "romance package" to greet us upon check-in. The few times I called the hotel to confirm and plan things, I spoke with a woman who was very helpful and excited for our stay there.

However, when we checked in and opened the door, the suite was swarming with flies. The setup was very cute like the description had promised, but the amount of bugs infesting the room was appalling. I immediately called the front desk and the man came up with spray bottles. Despite flies being everywhere, he asked where they were and sprayed around the room arbitrarily (which seemingly had no effect on them). At that time, my boyfriend pointed to a corner of the ceiling where there were black spots. The man casually replied that it just needed a new coat of paint but when he sprayed in that direction, all the black spots began to move and fly around. My boyfriend is a germaphobe and immediately picked up our bags to leave because no matter what, there was no way we could stay in that room.

We went back down to the front desk but the man didn't seem to have any solution to offer or another room to provide us. I asked for a refund or resolution to the romance package and the other desk worker replied that they didn't know how to do that, but he would try. Eventually, they were able to place us in a room with the same layout but no balcony and less features.

After so much planning and after making the 3 1/2 hour drive down here, the excitement and momentum of our 'special' anniversary trip left us feeling disappointed, unwelcome, and quite anticlimactic.

The next morning we decided to go to the front desk again hoping to speak to someone else. To our great fortune, Sandra was there. I began to explain the situation again, asking if she could help us in any way to improve our experience. Not only did she remember me from the times that I called during before the trip, but she was also exceedingly kind and apologetic. Sandra asked me to wait while she spoke with management and provided refunds for the services/amenities we weren't able to receive.

Initially, I was going to leave a poor review. But for the fact that Sandra alone was so wonderful, personable, and accommodating, we were able to have an exponentially improved experience. Thank you so much to Sandra for making our anniversary trip into a better one!!

Additionally, the hotel's style is modern and has a...

Beautiful, modern interior and decor, with comfortable beds and perfect pillows. Nice art, lots of greenery and plants inside, and easy/self-serve breakfast included in the morning. The customer service is the only thing that still needs some improvement at Saltline. We were greeted by a male employee who spent 15min giving restaurant advice to a previous customer who had just registered, while my elderly parents and I waited in line beside her, waiting to get checked in. Soon, two more families arrived and were also waiting to get checked in behind us, and yet he still rambled on answering all of the woman's detailed questions about where to get what type of food when, and ignored the growing line of customers waiting. We had traveled a long time to get there, and it was frustrating to wait over 15min to get checked in and to know the reason was that the receptionist was talking about where to eat. It was very unprofessional and caused all of the customers in line to get inpatient and voice their frustrations. Then, when we did finally get our room key, he had given us an inactivated keycard, and I had to go back downstairs and wait in line again to ask for a new card. He proceeded to give me an entirely new room number, and only thanks to a guest who was passing by did I realize that the new room number he had given us was in fact already occupied by another guest. So I had to go back downstairs again, to ask for a new card/room number, AGAIN. My mother is waiting a knee replacement and we had booked the accessible room, and we did not end up getting that room, as he said he had accidentally given that room away to another Allison with a similar name to me, and that he would have to get us a different room now. The whole customer service experience and lack of urgency to address the problems he caused was very disappointing, as I have stayed at Saltline several times before and enjoy the beautiful facilities. I would love to stay at Saltline again and give it another chance, but some type of compensation for our troubles would have been appreciated, and would have been the proper thing to do, in the world of high-quality...
