Audacity Wine Bar - Alexandria Nicole Cellars — Restaurant in Seattle

The only "Audacity" this bar has is the audacity to make fraudulent charges on your credit card.

After a night at this bar, my credit card statement had a first charge for what I spent at the bar (I tipped 25%), and an unrecognizable second charge that was over 3x the amount of the first charge. When I called the bar and inquired about the second charge, the lady was more focused on deflecting blame from herself than helping me get my money back. She sarcastically asked me what I wanted her to do.

When I wrote my Yelp review about this experience, Ali B. (a manager at the bar) lied and said she had video footage of “my group” making that large 2nd transaction I literally never did. I was there alone with my girlfriend. I challenged her to go to the cops with that imaginary video evidence if I’m supposedly trying to skip out on a tab I rung up, but of course she never followed up with the video that never existed. To save face, she said she’d return the money as a matter of “good faith.” That’s right, she pretended like I was the liar still and that they were doing me a favor returning the money they stole from me. They returned it because deep down they knew they were wrong.

Absolutely disgusting customer service. Just admit you messed up, apologize, and move on. Instead, you took the low road: stole from the customer, lied, and feigned moral superiority returning...

100000+ stars! Phenomenal location and experience. We hosted a private event on a Monday night for our company while we were at a conference in Seattle at the convention center. I communicated with Emy & Dionne all the way from Colorado in advance, and they made the experience of hosting an event super simple and fun! We were blown away with the location right across from the convention center, and the intimate and cozy atmosphere. They had food options to accommodate gluten free, vegan, etc. Their wines were delicious as well! What's more, we were able to bring our own desserts that had our company logo on it.

I was the one in charge of planning the event, and thanks to Emy's fabulous recommendations - everyone LOVED the experience. Overall, we were super impressed with the atmosphere, food, and wine. I researched many places to host an event, and if we are ever in Seattle hosting another event, we will definitely be going back to Audacity. Thank you Dionne and Emy for making this experience fantastic for us and all of our guests!

If you are wondering whether or not you should host an event at Audacity, the answer is "yes!" You will be so happy you did!

After an awful travel day, my husband and I stumbled upon this wine bar near the convention center. We were greeted with complimentary tastings of wine and the staff was so friendly. We had flown in from colorado and didn’t know anything about the place. They grow their own grapes and all the wine is their own. Every rec they made was incredible.
