If you are in need of a quick treat, Baiten should be among the top contenders. The fun japanese soft serve won't leave the heart wanting more sweets. They have great sundaes covered with various crunchie sticks, wafers, and merguines with added jellies, syrups, and sauces. If that is too intense and adventurous, worry not travler. There are smaller soft serves, fruit sandwiches, and cookie sandwiches that will leave you satisfied. I suggest going a little wild and getting an array of treats. You will leave giddy from an excess of sugar and dopamine flooding your body. Now maybe you're not big on the sweets, that's on you, but there are still items to please your pallete. Baiten offers some bento boxes that will make you kiss all five finger tips in delight. Cute storefront in Capitol Hill, within easily walkable distance of downtown, with soft serve and fruit sandwiches, and other amazing offerings like parfaits and drinks. The soft serve had multiple flavors including matcha, yuzu, hojicha, and kurogoma (black sesame). You can add toppings to the soft serve such as matcha mochi or red beans. A welcome stop especially on a warm Seattle day (or, if you overheat like me hiking up, UP the hill from the downtown area). Some additional bits: When it's busy, consider choosing less popular soft serve flavors or coming back at a less busy time. I came thrice in a week (it was a really warm week, and I love soft serve, okay) and the one time I came when it was quite busy, and ordered the matcha flavor, it came out unusually runny/less chilled than usual. I wonder if the soft serve machine can't keep up with a lot of demand. The rusk topping was new to me. It was a bit too hard of a texture, for my taste, when eaten together with soft serve. I don't really do this very often, but I had a really bad experience at your place today, May 7th 2025. I ordered an ice cream float and for some reason the server filled the cup all the way and put the ice cream on top of the soda and handed it to me with no lid or anything like that and I poured it all over my gloves and all over myself because there's literally nothing stopping the ice cream sinking and spilling sod everywhere. I made a mess of everything and it was just ridiculous. I'm sorry and she looked at me like what's wrong? I told her and she said I can get you a second cup. At this point I didn't want my ice cream and I left I have $20 ruin gloves now and soda all over my dress. I'm not going to be coming back anymore and I've been a customer multiple times a week for a while now.

I'm just confused at what customer service I got? I didn't even get my money back at this point and I tipped which I regret doing because that kind of service isn't okay.
