A place that has long out lived their glory days. Everything we ordered was either extremely salty or extremely sweet. The calamari and black cod was completely unpalatable due to the saltiness. It was clear the chef, no longer had the ability to taste his food, and had to overseason the food just to taste it. The outside view completely reflects their quality of food, outdated, and unappetizing.

We had a large party with reservation but they still acted very unprepared. Service was slow given we were practically the only people in the place, often times getting the waitress's attention took more effort than I really cared to muster.

One of us had to go look for someone to take our order after we had seated for more than 45 mins. It took more than an hour for food to be delivered - in an almost completely empty restaurant. The Sashimi & nigiri were the worse we ever had, just tasted & looked not fresh !!

The room we were in filled with stained shoji screens and frayed mats, dirty floors and decades-old decor.

When the check arrived, they had already added 18% tip to the total. And one of my friend was in a very happy mood (because her son just got married on this day), she left another 10% cash tip on the table. In my opinion, only one of the waitress (in the black shirt) deserved the tip, nothing else, no one else does.

Although other reviewers have stated a night of singing at Bush Gardens makes up for the restaurant's many faults, even the cheapest conveyor belt sushi eateries are a step up...

Bush Garden has the feel of a business that once would have been an amazing place to visit. While the waitress was friendly, it took nearly an hour for food to be delivered - in an almost completely empty restaurant. It’s clear that there has been a shift in focus from “classic traditional Japanese eatery” to “karaoke bar.” Stiff drinks may help you feel comfortable enough to belt out Bohemian Rhapsody, but there was not enough Sake to get me through the rubbery-Oyako Don. Although other reviewers have stated a night of singing at Bush Gardens makes up for the restaurant’s many faults, I'll stick with conveyor belt...

You will truly feel like you have been teleported back to the 80's at Bush Gardens! It seems they have changed things very little over the years and offers a refreshingly non pretentious vibe. The woman who was leading the karaoke was extremely interactive and seemed to truly enjoy what she was doing. My only complaint is that the song selections they have skip over a lot of the artists' hits, but the amount of fun you will have more than makes up for it! Definitely check this place out for...
