Meh. I tried the katsu, it was really bland. Had some poke, too, it was tasteless. And it was also an odd grey green color. I've been eating poké for decades and I've never seen it this color. It smelled ok, I don't think it had gone bad but it was really unappetizing. Overall, bleah, I'll never go back.

This is my favorite lunch place. I highly recommend all their bento items and it's all super affordable too. My favorites are probably the tori ten and the chicken teriyaki! Posting the sushi menu here because they don't seem to have it anywhere else

Quick, clean, and modest sushi. Great addition to the neighborhood! Large rolls. A wide variety of Japanese dishes. The Chirashi bowl is a fantastic deal and so are the sushi combos! Small selection of cakes in their fridge for dessert.

Went here bc my mom wanted to honor my late Grandma who passed away, but loved going to this restaurant on Eastlake that closed a while back. Cook was NOT wearing a mask and preparing the food!!The Cook held up the food and smelled the fish and chicken before cooking it, right up to their nose. Wrote to the restaurant to complaint and the manager said they will monitor more diligently and remind staff to wear mask! UNBELIEVABLE!!! Poor practices and handling and managing food!! Also, made me wonder if the fish was old bc they were sniffing it to pick...

If it wasn't somewhat edible, this would be a 1 star review. Ordered the poke bowl, and it was very much disappointing. Tuna was dry and multicolored. Its not even a poke bowl, its tuna sashimi with rice. Absolutely zero flavor, i highly doubt it was marinated but just cubed up right when it was ordered. Although i appreciate the effort, there was way too much going on with the bowl. Wasabi, avocado, and pickled ginger in a poke bowl? This is one instance where less is better. Might go back and give the other items a chance, but avoid the poke bowl...

Kept it simple, had the teriyaki and an avocado roll. Both were adequate, but I would have paid a little extra for a more generous helping of teriyaki. The flavor of the sauce was pretty good and the chicken was charred well. The rice had good texture and the salad dressing had some kick. The avocado roll was ok, I think it got a little warm being packaged with the teriyaki, so I can't speak to the texture but the flavor was fine.

The person behind the counter is an...
