Just Poke Fremont — Restaurant in Seattle

On two weekends, two weeks apart, I suffered the most severe pain from food poisoning I've ever had. I've never had issues with the chain before but, in this situation, it was unbearable to the point where I couldn't stand and laying down was painful. The pain continued to worsen until I started having muscle cramps and heart palpitations, even though my normal BP is 119/72 and 59 BPM and not a jittery mess. I had stabbing upper abdominal pain that came in intense waves causing all focus on it due to the severity. I ended up calling for a Lyft to the hospital for an ER visit, which they admitted me and found me to be rather dehydrated and I wasn't able to keep even water...down for 14 hours. My digestion didn't return to normal for 3-4 days. Just Poke have refused to refund even when showing impacts with physical evidence. Because of two instances of the same restuarant causing me severe digestive problems, I cannot recommend them. There's better places near by for...

Ridiculous! Ridiculous! I don't know who is managing this place but they are a mess! They ran out of items and were sending out and making online orders anyways without communicating to the customers. A waste! What came to my door was 3 ingredients. Hardly worth $6 let alone the $15 I paid and the manager is letting that happen!? Not just letting, but telling the employees to do it. I don't even know what to do with it. Its just sitting on my counter while I write this. The employee offered me a refund for the items I paid extra for and were not included (which I'm sure is what her manager is telling people to do) I didn't pay for a poke bowl without avocado. And I'm sure as shoot not about to. I work in a restaurant and this is just not okay. They had my number. I placed my order through them directly. Located in the same venue as DIY tea lab, this poke place was a stark disappointment. They have fewer choices of protein compared to other poke places and decent selection of toppings but the quantities are extremely stingy. For any extra scoop of topping they charge a dollar extra. This NEVER happens at any other poke place, proteins are usually extra but all other poke places offer unlimited toppings. Even with the limited one scoop they offer they are very stingy in the serving size. They seem to have a new guy working here who prepared my bowl and I could see the ridiculously low amount of toppings he served me, as compared to what was served to my partner by another server. When I asked to be served in more he just didn’t bother. Train your staff to be competent and improve your quantity. They serve overpriced poke bowls with pretentious portion sizes.
