The pho here is pretty good. The broth is bit sweet like southern style so people from the north of Vietnam might not like it. I ordered the pho with brisket, steak and meat ball. The meat is very tender since they sliced them so thin. I wish the meatball not to be cut so thin though, I couldn't taste the texture much. I like their open kitchen which allows customers to see what they are working on. The place looks small but there's plenty of seats, good for both group and for individual. The service is good, fast and efficient. Overall a good place to have pho.

I had a big pho craving for days while we had a heat wave last week here in Seattle. One night we made it over to the pho Than Brothers in Fremont, which was conveniently open a little later than the other locations. The woman cooking was very nice to us and pointed out that she had the good basil that day, and it was! We made sure to use all of it in our soup. She later came back with a plate of perfectly ripe watermelon slices as a gesture for the hot weather. It was a delightful experience, the food and service was great!

Just no...beef broth was dark and not hot enough. The beef tasted gamey and felt thick and chewy because the broth was not hot enough. There were no basil and they just put 2 slices of jalapeno and 2 slices of lime with the bean sprouts and 1 tiny hoison packet and one tiny chili sauce packet in the to go. I did not enjoy and half went to waste. $17 plus nowhere free to park nearby just to pick up.

Went to this place as it was highly recommended by one of our friends for pho. So, after enjoying the food, my wife had to use the bathroom but unfortunately was locked inside. Obviously she was quite nervous for a while but thankfully she was out after a few mins of struggle with the door lock. We weren't complaining about the door or anything, just trying to get help from the guy who worked there to figure it out. We were just relieved that the ordeal was over but the owner, or whoever he was, was so rude that I could easily see the aggressiveness in his eyes and body movements. He couldn't speak English but he was so angry and was gesticulating wildly and saying use your brains in a scary manner, and seemed like he wanted to get in a fight with us almost. I wish I could rate this restaurant 0 because of his behavior. Frankly speaking, totally worth visiting for pho but I truly think self respect comes first so I would never visit this place again, which has such a psychopath serving food with no manners and...

Fremont Than Brothers is a public health nightmare and a disaster in plain eyesight. They have employed people who cannt understand ANY english. The guy gave me meat broth instead of Veggie broth and had no idea what I was asking for. He kept making sounds when I asked Mark the box that had veggie broth, without actually understanding anything. Btw, I am allergic to meat. It can kill me. Both employees there were wearing gloves in the name of food safety, but mopped the floor, cleaned dishes and handled money and paper wearing the same gloves….. touched literally everything Plus customer food with it. I dont know how this place is still open. I request at inspection and immediate shutdown of this place to save...

So sad to see pho than brothers like this. It used to be my favorite. But now you pay 20 for the worst service and pho you can get. Guy behind the counter didn't take my order for 20 mins. And when I went up to the counter to order he rudely told me to go sit. I ordered a large pho. The broth was dark like they put soy sauce in it. There was so little noodles in it. And when I was checking out the guy watched me to make sure I tipped. So silly of a business to be so cheap when all they're going to do is lose loyal customers. Ive been going to than brothers for over a decade but I will no longer be going here or recommending it. This place will probably follow the other than brothers locations and close soon....
