I have only ordered takeout from this location.
I have complex food allergies that require I consider cross-contamination (eg, I can’t eat at Chipotle even though there are plenty of seemingly safe choices, because sometimes a single shred of cheese gets into the lettuce I am eating, and it makes me sick for days).
I have now ordered from this location three times. Each time I have ordered, I have been safe and healthy.
I have ordered pizza and pasta. I have ordered gluten-free, vegan each time.
I found the pizza to be a reasonable price for the size, quality, and peace of mind. There was a decent amount of each topping and plenty of cheese. The crust I ordered was yeasted and fairly fluffy for a gluten- free offering. The vegan cheese was well melted. It reheats well after refrigeration, if you place them on a baking sheet, cover them in aluminium foil, and add a spritz of water to the oven.
The pasta I ordered was the gluten-free vegan formaggio with meatballs. It was the best quality gluten-free pasta I have ever had. It had some chew to it and a bit of elasticity. There was a LOT of sauce and cheese. It was incredibly rich!! The meatballs were a bit tough, but then I’m not primarily a vegan. I prefer animal protein for meatballs. They had good flavor and paired well with the sauce. I was also excited to see garlic bread came with! That never happens with gluten free offerings.
My roommates and child order from the traditonal menu and are also satisfied with their offerings. One orders calzones and praised the Razzi one. The other orders the garlic chicken ceasar salad (whole) and says the whole salad is just slightly too much for one entree but is delicious enough she tries to eat the whole thing.
Lastly, I really appreciate that Razzi’s has their own drivers and the delivery charge is only $5. It takes 50-90 minutes from order confirmation to your door at prime dinner hours, if you live roughly 15 minutes from the downtown location only using surface streets. The drivers have been kind and the food well-packaged.
I cannot recommend this place enough! Good quality for everyone, and I...
Read moreWow what a great place to eat. There are 3 menus. One is gluten free, one is vegan, and one is traditional pizza.
We ordered: -Atlas pizza gluten free medium -Garlic bread gluten free whole size -Split pea soup bowl size -6 ginger ale cans
Unfortunately the split pea soup they didn't have enough for a bowl size so he offered either a second bowl of their other chicken soup.
We received: -Atlas pizza gluten free medium -Garlic bread gluten free whole size -Split pea soup cup size -Chicken soup cup size -6 ginger ale cans
We got take out. They were super timely. They pack any cold stuff (aka cans) separate from the hot stuff. Which I thought was a super nice touch. I didn't anticipate how much food this would be.
The garlic bread is massive. It's literally pizza dough cooked up and chopped up. I will say I found the garlic bread (gluten free) too sweet and the garlic didn't really shine through for me. The marinara sauce was included however and we got a size that was around the same as my soup. I feel like if I got a half size it would have been more then enough and next time I'd opt for the regular instead of gluten free just to see the difference. ⭐⭐⭐ And a half stars
The pizza was incredible. I don't normally like gluten free or meat pizza but I would go back in a heartbeat for this. I could see myself craving this if I lived in Seattle. Takeout gave me parm cheese and red pepper flakes packets just in case I wanted it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The split pea soup was a good traditional split pea. Didn't wow me, felt like I got what I was expecting. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
The chicken soup however. Woh. Chicken, whole chunks of tomato, I think artichokes. It's a delight. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Overall a super pleasant experience and not what I anticipated walking into what I thought was a little mom and pop shop.
Food price: $$-$$$ depending on if you get gluten free. All this was around $50 but it was a lot of food and...
Read moreEdited to add: I’ve now eaten at Razzi’s twice since and both times had a bad allergic reaction likely from cross contamination and will not be eating here again. The server we had at the other Razzi’s location was not allergy informed and was very rude. I won’t be coming back.
On my first visit I didn’t get sick and this is what i initially had to say then, but if you have allergies please bring Benadryl and possibly your epi pen just in case:
When you’re celiac and vegan with a soy allergy, eating out usually consists of a lot of barriers and sub-par food. Razzi’s pizzeria has the BEST pizza I’ve had in years. I could cry. The crust is AMAZING. Will definitely be coming back. My brother can eat anything and got the cheese steak grinder sandwich and he loved it too! He tried my pizza and said it’s really good even on “regular pizza” standards lol.
It’s not currently wheelchair accessible though sadly… they have an access elevator but still have to go up the stairs to get to it since the accessible door is closed currently. That would be my only complaint/reason to get it to go next time. Our server was kind and I...
