Arrived to a packed house, with a bit of a wait for a table, I guess the performing arts center was just about to start a show. But it's always nice to see a place that is hoppin, they handled the crowd about as well as can be expected. House specialty is pot pies, and it did not disappoint, wife got the chicken and the 2 bites I got were fantastic! I'm sure the Guinness beef one was equally good, but didn't try it. I got the burger, it was good, but nothing spectacular. There are better upscale burger places if that's what you're looking for. We were disappointed in the fact that they were out of fish and chips. I guess everyone got that dish the previous night, and they were cleaned out. So, apparently that is a hit, even if we didn't get any. :( Steaks and seafood dinners also on the menu, and were priced accordingly, dude in the table next to us had a steak, looked like they know how to cook a steak.

There is a kids menu, with kid sized stuff at kid sized prices, and they even mustered up some crayons for the coloring page amidst the chaos of an overly filled house. Props there.

By the time we got to eating (food came out in a timely manner) the place was clearing out. When we were done, the place was empty, guess it's an in spot before performance.

I'd definitely come back to try more menu items sometime. If you are on the fence about going there, I'll push you...

Don't write it off because it's a pub, they serve really good food! Ordered takeout - I had the reuben, potato skins, Shepherd's Pie, and bangers & mash, split with a friend. We both loved all of it! Proper portion of corned beef in the sandwich and delicious fixings around it served with good fries. Potato skins were crispy even after maybe 10min, great little flavor bombs. Pie had good beef and was overall fantastic and comforting as it should be. Bangers were easy to slice through with the plastic knife but retained a light snap, really impressed with the flavor and juiciness, as well as the mash they came with. The highlights for me were that everything was well-portioned and very well-seasoned, making it delicious and worthwhile! We each bought 2 items of the 4, which coincidentally totalled to the exact same amount, but was about $30 each (avg $15/dish). I think that's fair for what they're selling and especially the area. Pickup service was great, making sure we had time to pay before it was ready, so we walked out with everything at peak freshness. Sociable staff that I assume was the owner - he had his...

TS McHugh’s = great people, great energy

thank you to the kind regular & Josh the bartender! We had a horrible experience at another bar nearby (Rich Rich Bar), and while we were outside trying to make sense of it all, a regular from TS McHugh’s overheard us and offered to help. He was genuinely kind and went out of his way to walk us over and support us and because of him, we were able to get our $20 cover fee refunded. Once we got to TS McHugh’s, we were greeted by Josh, the bartender, who was super friendly, professional, and made us feel right at home. The bar had a totally different energy chill, welcoming, no pretense. Clean place, reasonably priced drinks, & just good people.

If you’re ever in Seattle, go to TS McHugh’s. The regulars are kind, the staff is awesome, and the vibe is everything you want in a neighborhood bar. We weren’t even planning to go there but thanks to one thoughtful regular and a great bartender, they completely...

First time in Seattle. After never being greeted across the way at the creole place, we came here and were immediately taken care of by Nicholas. He was great in general- fun, knowledgable and even wrote us a list of all the cool places to check out. The pot pie is a must here. I opted for a light option and failed myself knowing I should of got the shepherd's pie. Place was such a good vibe we came in the next day to eat and this time play pool. Another great experience. Keagan the bartender took care of us this time, another fun soul. Wings and burger were great. It's one pool table but it's free. They also have some other games and arcade action going on, and a 3-6 happy hour I think. This would be my local spot if I lived here. Thanks fellas!

My friends and I came in here before a concert at Climate Pledge Arena. The staff was really accommodating with our large group (party of 8) and sat us right away. They asked if we were attending the concert to make sure our food/drink came out quickly. They offered a more limited event-only menu but it was still full of great options. Between our group, we ordered most of the menu and everything had positive feedback on their meal selection. I had the burger and it was simple but really good. And the crinkle fries were cooked to perfection. Of course the beer was great too. That was my first time here and it definitely won’t be the last.
