Wow... "Taco Del Mar" used to be an awesome restaurant...back in the mid-90's when they first came to Seattle. I've been living in Atlanta, GA since 2001 and just moved back to the Seattle area in 2015. I'm guessing Taco Del Mar was sold to another person/persons? It used to be run by mostly white dudes with a laid-back attitude. I remember huge food portions and great quality. Now? Wellllll...overpriced and overly corporate. The food isn't anything like it used to be. I spent almost $10 for a very small taco salad and soda. The vibe is so...soulless. I ate at the 8th and Stewart location and gazed out the windows at the corporate gutting of the Seattle I once loved so much. The large burrito was more than enough for one person. Ingredients were fresh and tasty with lots of options: ground beef and black beans were very good.
