I got both the Lamb & Beef Gyro and the Greek Fries from this spot. Since I figured it would be way too much for a single order, I got the gyro the first day and the Greek fries on the next day Starting with the gyro, this was incredibly good The first thing you notice is how massive this is. I can't believe they were able to fit this much food into a single pita, but they did it. It is absolutely stuffed with meat - so much so that there's no way to realistically eat it with all of it still attached to the pita. I had to accept the fact that a lot of it was going to be on the wrapper at the end, and that's what ended up happening I have not seen a place that gives you this much meat in a single gyro - ever That's all good, but if the meat didn't taste good, it would be useless. However, thankfully, the lamb & beef are both fantastic. They're fatty, immensively flavorful, have a great char that comes from the spit they're removed from, and overall taste really good. They kind of blend together while you're eating so it's honestly not super easy to tell which is which - but both are great The other fantastic thing about the gyro was how much tzatziki sauce they put in. A large portion of the wrap was doused in this sauce, which I really enjoyed, because it meant that every bite had a certain moisture that elevated it to another level. This tasted like real tzatziki sauce too - where I could really taste the herbs and Greek yogurt. This combination of sauce & meat created a flavor profile that made every bite really enjoyable the pita itself was quite good - although I do wish it was slightly bigger to accommodate the portion size I can't fully review a Greek place unless I've also tried their Greek fries, so I had to get these as well Unfortunately, I can't say I liked these as much as the gyro. They were still good, but not at that level, and I've had way better Greek fries from other places The best part about these fries were the fries themselves. They had a really good combination of being crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, which made each individual fry great to eat. However, the disappointment came in the lack of sauce. There was very little sauce present in these fries - to the point where each fry felt like I was just eating that fry, along with a little bit of feta cheese. While the portion of feta cheese was good, it really does need sauce, and a lot of it, to tie everything together. When you combine this with the way the fries are presented in a wide box, this means that a lot of the fries aren't going to have any additional flavor except the feta cheese. There was a little bit of lime, but not too much I also felt like there was a lack of seasoning on these fries Comparing this place to some other places I've been, like Aladdin's and Sultan's up in U-District, I have to say this place has a much better gyro than both of those, but those places blow Urban Gyro's Greek Fries out of the water For the price, the portion sizes are pretty insane. Especially the Greek Fries, which can be an entire meal on its own for just 6 bucks Overall, I'll rate the gyro a 9.25/10, and the Greek Fries a 7/10, for a total score of an 8.5/10

The food was decent, but their processes are terrible. A late lunch, not super packed, involved a 15min wait. This was due to an assembly line that crossed over itself (the people working didn’t seem to have a good separation of responsibilities), confusion over whether food should be handed over the counter by the kitchen staff or given to the cashier to hand over, rushed packing that left sauce prints over all the containers, and running out of fries twice in the course of serving 8 people. The resulting gyro had all the (moderately warm) chicken at one end and all the greens and dressing at the other end, and was hastily covered in one sheet of wax paper and two sheets of aluminum foil with no particular wrapping strategy, and shoved in a box. I’d eat here again, but only after giving them several weeks to improve their process.

I came in with my husband for lunch yesterday and though there was a bit of a line, it moved quickly. The food was delicious! I had a falafel sandwich (definitely one of the best falafel sandwiches in Seattle) and fries, and my husband got "The Combo," which was lamb, chicken, and beef with turmeric rice, tzatziki, and veggies. We split a chocolate drizzle baklava which was a perfectly sweet end to the meal. Everyone working there was super friendly, and since I live in the neighborhood, I'm really excited to see that it'll be open on weekends when most food places in SLU are closed. Definitely going to make this place one of our regular spots.

First, our food was good. The falafel gyro was good and my co-diner had the lamb and said it was good as well. They were very large and more than enough for one person. I also had the Greek salad. The salad tasted fine, but I was looking forward to the olives. There were none. It was mostly ice berg lettuce, some red onion and what appeared to be powdered feta. It's the experience that was more odd. It's a small place and we were the only ones there. We were greeted nicely with a great "hello" when we walked in. I proceeded to give the gentleman our order and he appears to be putting it in as he looked at us. Then there was some silence as I waited for the amount. Now all of the sudden he speaks and his no-accent changes to a heavy accent and asked to take our order. Bewildered I give him the whole order again. Then he says "numbers" we have to order by the number. OK, I give him the numbers. He confirms what we want and is wrong. I had to correct him on a couple items as per the numbers on the menu. OK, now the amount. EXPENSIVE! Then he says cash only. We were not prepared to pay cash but gather up the last of our cash to cover the bill with a few dollars to spare. Prepared to drop the change in the tip can, he takes our cash, looks me in the eye, shuts the register drawer and walks away. Never offered to give us change. As we waited, two more customers came in. They ordered and were prepared as they told him they had no cash and he gladly took there credit card. Before we left another person came in and paid with credit card. So, food OK, but very expensive (we're not from Seattle and not used to city prices I guess) experience odd, just be prepared to tell him you...

TLDR: All in all the food was tasty but the experience of acquiring the food was pretty bad. All three of us either had our orders messed up or they came with additions that were not listed on the menu. Worse was that all of our food was cold after the one block walk back to the office. Luckily we had use of a microwave to heat it up.

Full story: After ringing me up for a chicken shish kabob sandwich the person taking the orders told the cooks I ordered falafel, luckily I was standing right there to correct them. My sandwich came with hummus instead of tzatziki (wasn't a substitution, on the menu that sandwich comes with hummus or tzatziki, I requested tzatziki). The two other people I was with ordered lamb and beef gyros, the menu says lettuce upon request. Neither requested it but both got it. The fries (which I saw come out of the fryer) and our sandwiches were cold a few minutes later. Greek fries come with tzatziki which isn't listed on the menu. This wasn't a problem for me but I feel like is good information for other people to know.

I know this place is new and they're probably still working out their system but it seems like the use a ticketing system where they write down people's orders would seriously benefit this place. Considering that it really wasn't busy there was a lot of confusion about what we ordered. The person handling the orders and the cooks were continuously reiterating the orders back and forth to each other the whole time they were making our food. Also, I love the fact that they list out what comes with each dish on the menu, but it doesn't match what you actually get. I would recommend that they change the menu or stick to it when...
