Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Seekonk

If i could give negative stars, I would!!! Worst service ever! Got in after the server was busy with chatting with the guest in front of us, seated after 3 to 5 minutes. Not a packed day. Waitress asks us for drinks, appetizers, we got finger food, they take our order and my dad asks for utensils. Server gives us half of our food, including my dad's steak dinner. Runs away. My dad asks another server who drops of the other half of or order 3 minutes later, and he asks her for utensils as his food is getting cold. She mildly acknowledged him and walked away. A minute later, our waitress asks us how or food is, and my dad asks for utensils a third time. I mention that my burger is overcooked while my fiance's burger is undercooked, but we begrudgingly ate it. She walks away and a few minutes later comes back with utensils, saying that there were none ready. Now how could you sit people without having utensils ready and why would there be no utensils ready if there was about a quarter of the restaurant filled? So after the meal, waitress asks if we want dessert or a check, my dad asks for the check. She brings over a paper check, then fumbles with the new check machine for a while. We pay the bill and as we're discussing the short comings of the meal, the manager finally comes over (the one that normally asks you mid bite of your first bite of the meal), and we tell him all the issues with the visit and he said he wished he had asked us sooner, but the short falls of this visit make this...

I got to go food. The host was sweet however going to the bar to order food wasn't. The bartenders didn't seem to take notice or urgency to greet me. Once my order was in (two apps- fried shrimp that we all know is just frozen and deep fired and a side salad). She did several tasks while my card sat on my receipt in plain view. The tasks are fine, the not checking on me or asking if I wanted anything else before cashing me out wasn't. Had she asked, during her tasks I noticed the house margarita I would have ordered but by the time she closed my tab I figured my food would be out soon. I was wrong. It took 15 min. And I know this because I looked at my receipt after I felt it had been a while and was regretting not getting the marg. I received my food, got to my car and good thing I checked for silverware seeing as I'm getting food to go, I wasn't going home! Nope.. So I had to go back inside and catch the host because obviously the bartender was doing "tasks" and not chin up smiling waiting for guests. Now I sound harsh.. "Maybe she's supposed to stay busy, maybe she had a lot to do". She had 5 other guests at the bar digesting if you will. I'm a bartender. I'm NOT being harsh. I'm...

I normally love this place. But today I went here and not only does the food look like they started giving you less. I almost could have swallowed a metal piece!!!! I ordered the chicken with shrimp and mash. Tasted really good up until I started feeling and hearing a church church in my mouth, and it also felt like I almost broke a tooth!!! I put my hand in my mouth to pull a piece of metal out of my chicken!!! I think I even swallowed a little piece of it!! I was grossed out that I couldn't even finish my food. I love the fact that the waitress ran away with the piece of metal before I could snap a picture of it. And she never returned with it. You would think they would do a little more than just take your name and give you free food after this!!! Nope!! My throat is sore, and I'm pretty sure I did eat the metal!! I'm not too sure what I can do about it. Now that they took the proof of it. But mistakes like this one should never happen in a kitchen!!! I am going to file a report on Monday with corporate. I'm not sure if I will ever want to eat here again. Maybe they should be checking the kitchen before they start cooking food in...
