I recently had a terrible experience with Five Guys in Seminole, Florida and I feel compelled to share my disappointment. I ordered from Five Guys through Uber Eats and what followed was an absolute nightmare. After waiting for almost 1 1/2 hours, I received a message from the driver informing me that the system was down and they were unable to complete my order. This was incredibly frustrating as I had a hungry family of four eagerly anticipating their meal, only to be left empty-handed.
The lack of communication and efficiency from both Five Guys and Uber Eats is simply unacceptable. The fact that there was no proactive effort to inform me of the delay or the technical issues with the system is incredibly disappointing. By the time I received the news, it was too late to place another order and endure another extensive wait. The entire experience left a sour taste in my mouth and I am deeply dissatisfied with the lack of customer service and professionalism displayed by both Five Guys and Uber Eats.
I expected better from a well-known establishment like Five Guys and a widely-used delivery service like Uber Eats. This experience has made me reconsider ever ordering from them again and I strongly urge others to think twice before doing so. It's evident that they have significant shortcomings in their operational capabilities and customer communication, and as a result, they have lost my trust...
Read moreVisited Five Guys for the first time last night with my other half. Ordered 1 cheeseburger and one regular burger...and medium fries for both burgers. (Newbie error!) The order came out quick enough considering its cooked to order. 1st of all...the price!!! For the above order...$33.32! Thats obscene for 2 burgers with fries. The fries tasted fresh...but were very limp and greasy! There was a TON of fries. 1 small fry would have fed us both I believe. We brought the order home...and my girl couldnt even pick her burger up. The bottom bun was super soggy. I ate mine...and it tasted pretty good. As a sidetone, the two bags they had the food in were soaked in grease by the time we got home. As one commenter already said...I could have gone to Millers Ale house which is closer and ordered a cheeseburger with fries for $10.99. For $13.99...I could have had their best "Prime beef hamburger.
The product quality and price would most likely prevent me from re-visiting. I WANTED to like this place as Five Guys hamburgers were rated pretty high compared to...
Read moreFood tastes great. Lots of fries, as usual. Typical counter service experience and atmosphere.
Prices, however, are very high. Two little cheeseburgers, a little fry, and two regular soft drinks for $27.77? I can get two "3-for-me" old-timer with cheese "specials" at Chili's and get a bigger and usually equivalent quality burger with fries, a drink, and an appetizer for $23.52. I might have to tip when dining in at Chili's so the price might be the same BUT I've also been "served" rather than just had fast food prepared for me. I also usually have half of my Chili's burger left for the next day's lunch. Also, unlimited chips and salsa vs a bunch of peanuts is probably a more satisfying option. When a sit-down national chain can beat a counter service chain on price, I find it hard to go for the $7.99 little...
