Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Seminole

I absolutely love Tropical Smoothie Cafe. This place I have been to 2 times in the last week and I've had both times the worst experience. The staff was impolite the second visit. Gave glares and seemed very unhappy both times. The smoothies did not taste the same as the other locations. Had the same smoothie both times and each tasted different and undesirable compared to the other locations. Upon giving the staff the heads up, the what seemed to be supervisor gave attitude. Even after trying to make conversation and an attempt at light humor it was made a very uncomfortable environment when I was brushed off without even a response as we were paying for our meals. The first visit seemed harmless enough although we had ordered chicken Quesadillas and to our surprise 20 mins away at our place there was in the bottom of a bag half filled with napkins, two burritos. We called to let them know about the mix up. They had put us on a list to get the order right, we came back today to this not so delightful late lunch. Hence why I am writing this review. Normally we don't bother but it's this experience that implored me to forego the warning to other light humored (this is not a joke) hungry individuals only looking for good vibes. The jerkchicken Quesadillas were amazing today though and my girlfriend did love the Bahama...

Very disgusted with this tropical smoothie location, I enjoy tropical smoothie itself but this location and its employees always seem to have an issue or make an incorrect smoothie or missing items. I called the store they attempted to make it right twice but what’s the point if it’s continuously wrong or improperly made. They have careless new employees that are making wrong smoothies and management seems to be doing nothing about it. That or the provide poor training. It’s ashame. The manager was nice but not accommodating to providing a refund when I stated I would bring the whole meal back that has not been touched due to losing appetite after this altercation and simply stating I just won’t come back any longer after many failed attempts of trying to give this TS another chance since it’s the closest location near me, but he refused, especially when this is a repeated issue and I spend ALOT of money here to have my lunch either picked up; or delivered. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. You don’t get the quality you pay for because it’s more than half the time...

What a wonderful experience! I’ve been to MANY smoothie places & this Tropical Smoothie (TS) is just about THE BEST! From the moment i walked in I was immediately acknowledged & assisted by a wonderful TS employee named Carolyn (sp?). Despite the constant & consistent influx of customers, Carolyn quickly & efficiently took my order, made my order, AND personally delivered to my table, one of the best smoothies I’ve ever had.. I don’t know management style or Manager at this Seminole location, but must be very good (a positive employee experience) because the Seminole TS associates here are so happy & friendly. This is in addition to hard working, helpful, & efficient (quick!)! Product is AWESOME, service is AWESOME!
