I'm local, and have been to Graze numerous times, from original opening till yesterday November 23, 2020. Yesterday may have been for the last time. Graze started off so promising with great customer service, amazing burgers (priced a bit high but amazing) and an awesome atmosphere. Recently I have heard from friends that it wasn't as good as before, but I didn't listen and came back because I wanted a great burger. Well let's just say, the food was borderline poor, the resturant was filthy, and customer service was lacking. So let's begin... after a 30 minute wait (yes it was extremely busy so I understood the wait) we were seated. The table was half cleaned right in front of us. The table was wiped down but the food on the bench was left. SonI had to ask them to re-clean the bench which they did but only half the bench. We ordered right away which was great because we looked the menu over as we waited. Drinks came fast, but the cup was dirty on the outside. Wiped it off because the wait for a new one seemed to be days. Order the bison, which I have ordered everytime I have been there. The order came pretty quick which was fantastic. Well it came quick because the bison burger was completely raw. See picture. Very disappointing. As I waited 10 minutes for the waitress to return so I could inform her of the uncooked burger my wife had almost finished her meal. So instead of waiting any longer, I walked the plate back up to them. They were kind enough to replace the burger with a new one. But still upsetting nonetheless. When they finally brought me the burger back it had onion rings and not fries, see I hate only rings, lucky for me my wife likes them so she gave me the rest of her fries and took my onion rings. The next time we had a visit from the waitress was when we were done with our meal, not during our stay for refills, but only at the very end. Which is upsetting because I had to resort to drinking my sons lemonade with him and 3 year olds dont like to share. I used to love this place, close to my house and work, good food, and great atmosphere. What happened Graze? Have you got to big for your britches? Did you throw valuing your customer base out the window? Are you not worried about local traffic anymore, you know the ones that are returning customers? I guess the enormous amount of one star reviews over the past few months haven't opened your eyes wide enough to realize your gonna lose your locals. I hope you decide to literally clean up your act and go back to the values your started your resturant off of at first opening. Thats when you were fantastic, thats when you were amazing. For the love of the burger, go back to...
Read moreMy wife and I spend a week in The Smokies twice a year. We always avoid the big, national chain restaurants, choosing to dine only at the marvelous, locally-owned eateries found throughout Sevier County. We have our favorites but we always try at least one new (to us) restaurant every trip...and Graze Burgers, located on Bruce Street near the Dolly Parton statue in Sevierville's historic downtown, was at the top of our list during this trip.
Ever since my wife had read the glowing comments about Graze Burgers on social media, we looked forward to dining there...and it did not disappoint!
After we ordered an appetizer (Their House Fried Pickles with Graze Sauce...and they were amazing!), my wife selected the "Classic" burger, embellished with "aged cheddar, local greens, tomatoes, onions, house pickles, graze sauce" and she opted to add their house bacon. She said it was the "great, juicy burger" she was hungry for!
I had already enjoyed a couple of really good cheeseburgers during our trip to The Smokies, so I thought I'd go for one of their hot dogs. I ordered the "Trailer Park", the biggest hot dog I have ever seen or eaten, loaded with "beef chili, aged cheddar, house pickles, house bacon, and bourbon caramelized onions." The combination of flavors was absolute perfection, but the actual hot dog was the real star of the show. It wasn't just the fact that the dog was huge, but it was perfectly prepared and the flavor was beyond delicious! Oh, and did you notice in the picture that my side dish was a combination of fries and onion rings? That is an actual option at Graze Burgers. How cool is that?
And here's the cherry on top: the service!
We were quickly greeted and seated by our server, Tristan. He not only enjoys his job, but he's clearly impassioned by it. Our food was served promptly, at the right temperature and with accuracy, too. And he delivered refills before we could even ask! His level of service is rare...and appreciated!
One thing's for sure: Graze Burgers has become another reason why we love spending time in...
Read moreWell, hold the phone and ketchup with this! My family and I were cruising through Sevierville, running on fumes and the power of my daughter’s eye-rolls, when a beacon of hope appeared: Gray's! I told the kids, “Looks like we’re stopping for a Gray’t time!” They were not amused. Their loss! From the moment I parked our trusty minivan, I knew this place was special. It’s a gas station, yes, but it’s also the command center for what I can only describe as a burger revolution. I said to my wife, “Honey, I think this is the Patty-can!” The service was so friendly, they must have a degree in "customer cheer-ology." They greeted me with smiles so bright, I almost didn't need my sunglasses! Let's taco 'bout the main event: the burgers. I ordered the classic, and when it arrived, I was speechless. This wasn't just a burger; it was a masterpiece. The beef was so well-behaved, it never talked back. The lettuce was so fresh, it was still telling jokes about the tomato. I took a bite and, folks, it was love at first grill. It was so good, it made onions cry! My son said, “Dad, this is amazing.” I said, “No, son, you’re amazing. But this burger is a close second.” Even the facilities were top-notch. The restrooms were so clean, I almost ate my burger in there. Just kidding! Or am I? A place that pays this much attention to the little details, from the pristine potties to the perfectly perked coffee that could jump-start a monster truck, is a winner in my book. So, if you’re ever in Sevierville and feeling hungry, don’t just drive past. Pull in, fuel up, and let Gray's work its magic. You'll leave with a full tank and a full stomach. It’s an un-grill-ievable experience! I can’t wait to go back; I’m already having withdrawals. This place doesn't just serve food; it serves happiness on a bun. And...
