Visited for the first time this evening and it was a great experience. It’s a small place and they were busy, so we opted to sit at the high-tops instead of waiting. The “high tops” are 2 long tables along the windows near the kitchen, with room for 8 people total. The kitchen can be watched through the glass windows, and the table faced the windows to the streets. The inside looks really nice and was a great atmosphere.
Drinks, salad, entrees, and dessert were all great! We tried the lychee martinis and both thought it was an excellent drink. We shared a Caesar salad - the salads are big, so if you’re looking for an appetizer or side salad, I’d recommend sharing with someone in your party.
Entrees were the Alfredo with chicken and is osso buco. Both were delicious! The Alfredo sauce was tasty and creamy, the noodles were cooked correctly, and the chicken was cooked well (not tough and overcooked like so places do) it was served with a piece of bread. The osso buco was served with mixed vegetables and mashed potatoes and the person said it was all excellent. They were thrilled it came with a bone (not sure if 1 or more) and marrow.
For dessert we tried the gelato and affogato. The desserts were good, but when compared to gelato from Italian restaurants in other states, it’s good, not great. It was melting super fast and easy and the texture was a little grainy (tried the sea salt caramel and pistachio). But the taste was good. For the affogato, we felt there was too much espresso poured over and too little gelato. The ratio was a bit off. If we were to order it again, I’d ask for the espresso on the side instead. I didn’t feel this was enough to dock a star on the review, as it was all still tasty and enjoyed.
Overall, portions were just right (on the ample side) and everything tasted great.
Service was great too. We were greeted right away and seated. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, able to offer suggestions, and attentive.
We hope to revisit and try other items on the menu, but so far, we’d definitely order it all again. Highly recommend...
Read moreThe margarita pizza feels like a social experiment to see how little you can actually put on something before being called out for it.
26$ and the total amount of ingredients was maybe 2$ worth of dough and basil leaves, Mozzarella cheese slices were basically translucent, quarter sized, and maybe had six for the entire pizza.
I had the 30$ speciality, and it was fine, if it was maybe 20$ I would have been satisfied, but realistically for the price they charge the both quantity and quality just aren’t there in any measurable way.
Our server was uninterested at best, and outright annoyed we needed her help at worst, she gave the aura of “I can tell you aren’t going to tip well. So I’m going to do everything in my power to not put any effort into this interaction whatsoever.”
I tipped her well anyway, but not because I felt like she earned it.
she was also misleading about the pizzas not being a shareable size, but that’s not really an issue, because I think her intent was to upsell, which is “whatever” I can afford it if it was good pizza, but it was mid at best.
The entire experience felt like being in a restaurant that wants to be respected, but has done none of the work required to earn that respect.
Low-Mid experience.
We just wanted good pizza, ended up paying 60$ for about 4.75 worth of dough and red sauce so the server could give us “ugh why are you here” energy
with “ugh, why did we eat...

We were excited to try this place because they make homemade pasta daily and woodfired pizzas. Everything looked fresh and amazing. I came with my wife and our three-year-old son — we're all big fans of pasta, especially when it's made fresh.
We ordered:
Focaccia bread
Kid’s pepperoni pizza ($10)
Linguini with shrimp (my wife’s choice)
Pappardelle Ragu (recommended by our waiter and my choice)
The restaurant itself was clean, stylish, and leaned more toward upscale dining. One thing we noticed right away: the wait staff was very well-dressed and professional. However, the massive pizza oven made the whole place uncomfortably hot. The A/C couldn’t keep up, and by the time we left, I was sweating — and I’m not usually someone who sweats easily. I can’t imagine how the staff felt working in that heat.
Despite the uncomfortable temperature, the food was absolutely top-tier. My dish (the Pappardelle Ragu) might be the best thing I’ve eaten since arriving in Tennessee. My wife also loved her shrimp linguini.
Final thoughts: The heat makes it hard to fully enjoy the experience, but the food is so good that I’d honestly consider coming back anyway — just dressed lighter next time. Service was excellent too.
Rating: 8.5/10 Would be higher if the dining environment was more...
