Big Lots — Local services in Sevierville

My sister and I were looking for a new couch or loveseat yesterday, and when we walked into big lots, Josh, the manager asked us if he could help. He took us to a new item. He highly recommended, and showed us all of the features. We spent about an hour in the store, and even though he was only one of two people, he managed to take care of every new customer as well as our additional questions. And I was surprised to find high-quality name brands, such as Serta mattresses, lots of Royhill furniture, and many others. Definitely higher quality inventory. But it was all about Josh, the new manager. He is just outstanding. We eventually decided to buy the couch and loveseat, and he helped us arrange for delivery from the rental store next-door. Oh, and after our purchases, I noticed a dent in the lampshade as I was putting it in my car. I returned and he went and found a replacement immediately. Really well done, i’m not sure how he managed everything with short staff, but super customer service and the store was in very good shape, nice and clean. Congratulations big lots, your managers, Josh will make me shop there again and recommend him and their products. Oh, and he went to find the warranty and check an issue we had...

I NEVER EVER leave a one star ⭐️ review,… I have made almost 900 reviews and this is the 1st time I’ve EVER posted a negative one star ⭐️ ….. but you can believe I’m going to leave one today. First, let me say that the lady checking people out was amazing. The man in the back probably the manager I’m not sure he was dressed in a black shirt and khaki pants today is 10/14/2025 and it’s 5:45 PM big lots check your schedule to find out who that was. He’s almost bald. Y’all need to get somebody back there who can help a customer load something up. He brought my recliner out dropped it off barely help me load it up and left me with the remainder. I almost couldn’t get the rest of it loaded up I am furious. He didn’t even wait to see if I got this loaded or not If I didn’t have to take this recliner back out by myself I would return it😡 I have bought recliners before from big lots and really enjoyed them. They were perfect for me. Simply for the customer service I would return this recliner if I had the strength to return it bad...

I use to love to shop at the old Big Lots in Sevierville. The new store is very over priced. I bought some little fairy lights at the Dollar General for 4 dollars and they were 4.97 at Wal-Mart. The exact same fairy lights and brand at Big lots was 8 dollars, that's a big price difference. I also found many other items at Big Lots that are at least 50% more then at Wal-Mart and Dollar General. The prices at the Sevierville Big Lots are ridiculously high, its the most expensive Big Lots I have ever been in. Which make me wonder how many of these reviews are real and have been posted by the managers, employees or their friends and family. Only nice thing about this Big Lots is it was clean. I wouldn't have give it any stars at all but I had to give it one star to make a review on a scale of 1 to 10 ten being the best this Big Lots would be a one just because it was clean. I cant speak about the employees because I didn't speak to any of them.... I will never shop at this Big Lots very disappointing..😟 I miss the...
