RadioShack — Local services in Sevierville

Today, 6/24/25 at 3:35 p.m. I visited this Radio Shack store looking to purchase a single fuse. I brought my old sample and I asked the attendant if he stocked the item. The attendant was quick to tell me he did not have such fuse and before I could finish explaining the use of the fuse and asking for a location where I may find it, he was through with me and did not care to hear anything else I had to say. When I offered to show him a photo of the fuse in use, he bluntly told me he did not need to see it. Realizing I was not getting anywhere with the individual, I turned around and started to walk away, at which time he uttered a smart remark and I sternly told him he was very rude and that he could be more helpful. I have been a Radio Shack customer since the mid 1970s, but needless to say, this will be the last time I visit this particular Radio Shack Store. I came to the Smokey Mountains on vacation for my family and to my misfortune, I forgot the charger to my laptop. My wife and I called all the other stores, Best Buy, Walmart etc.. and they were not helpful. We called out to our property managers and they told us to call RadioShack and talk to Jeff. I immediately called and Jeff was able to take my description and said he had a charger. When I came to the store, Jeff greeted me and made me feel welcome. He assisted me with making sure the charger worked. But this wasn't what made his business great. Showed up at 4:30 and no one was there and the doors were locked. It says they're open until 6???? While I was outside waiting to see if someone would show up two other came to the door to find it locked as well. I went next door to the battery store to inquire and they said several people stopped in asking why it was closed and they had no idea.
