Bruegger's Bagels — Restaurant in Shelton

I stopped in at the Shelton CT location on Saturday morning on my way into work. Tammy took my order and as she was preparing it she also took a business call. Instead of someone else finishing my order I waited over 10 to 15 minutes while she was taking an order over the phone. In the mean time, at least 6 groups of people behind me had their orders filled while my order was half completed and being ignored. Then when I said something to the gentlemen at the register he fluffed me off. Then he kept saying to me have a nice day and didn't want to hear my complaint. This location could care less about their customers! I will NEVER go there again. This was not my first bad experience at this location but it will be my last. This is an unacceptable way...

I remember their bagels being much better in the past. The one I bought to eat the next day wasn't great and the onion bagel my egg sandwich on was just okay.

I think I was mainly disappointed at this visit because I expected to get fresh eggs, but they are just precooked eggs that are heated like at Dunkin'. I could have sworn that in the past, they made their eggs fresh because I actually had to wait a few minutes for the sandwich instead of watching the cashier assemble it and put it into the oven. Maybe they used to do that, but don't anymore. It did taste fine, but I would rather go somewhere where you can get freshly cooked eggs and there are plenty of places in the area where you can get better egg sandwiches that are...

Love the bagels but the customer service is horrible! I don't come here often but when i do there is a particular girl with a nose ring and dark curly hair she wears her hair in a bun that is extremely miserable and rude ! I don't know how shes been employed here for this long! Mocked me when I was talking to another girl about my order and she thought I didn't hear her. The friendliest one is the blonde girl at the register she always ask if you would like coffee or anything else before you pay. Seeing the staff is extremely rude I think I would choose Panera Bread before...
