After my past experience of waiting an hour and 40 minutes for chili's to go at Shelton a few months ago (not even joking), I thought I would try one more time with Chili's to go. Huge mistake. I showed up at the exact time I was supposed to according to my online order. I waited over an hour than the estimated completion time. Stood for 40 minutes straight at the to-go counter. Was then told multiple times halfway through that my "order was being packaged up". I didn't know it took 25 minutes to package someones food??? I thought that's how long my original eta was! During the 40 minutes I was standing there, I could see how slow to-go orders were being put together. It was primarily one person (a few others occasionally helped, but mostly them) that was putting them together, and one order was being completed every 6-8 minutes. They were going so slow it took everything in me not to go back there and package the orders myself! The whole time, the phone being ignored as it was ringing off the hook, and online orders printing out of the receipt printer. You need twice as many staff during busy times, and ones that can keep up with the demand. Several other customers were waiting the same amount of time as me. For example, one customer's food was sitting at the counter for over 30 minutes to the point where that customer came in stating they had called over 20 minutes ago that they arrived at curbside and there food was just sitting there. AND they had three items missing! The most important part of all, don't have your online app tell someone to show up 20 minutes after ordering if it's going to take over 1 hour and 20 minutes to prepare their food. At least give me an accurate time then lying to me about my order progress the whole time I'm standing there, when I'm facing the counter where you're packaging the to-go orders. I saw when my order was actually packaged and labeled and it was minutes before it was handed to me, not the 25 minutes ago when they told me. I don't know how this place hasn't been...
Read moreUsually have great experiences here but the food and service tonight 8/10/25 were a miss. I had steak with mashed and broccoli. The steak size was small but I got what I paid for. The broccoli was atrocious. Had a mild brown color, they are lucky I love salt bc they were extremely salty but also very dry. The service was just as atrocious as the broccoli. While the server appeared nice, her service was almost rude? Lack of training perhaps? She was standing at the table ready to place our order when my friend was on the phone and was apparent about it, but the server wasn’t apologetic about the fact that she just interrupted what could’ve been an important phone call. My friend wasn’t provided a straw with her giant margarita and the server gave me sweetened iced tea when I was asking for unsweetened iced tea (my fault for not specifying) but also her fault for not clarifying the iced tea options like many trained servers have done for me in the past. Silverware wasn’t present when our entrees were dropped off. We kept having to ask another server for things. My friend ended up packing her food to go and was charged extra for sauce she asked for to go (which wouldn’t have been an issue) however the server didn’t offer a to go container for the sauce that was still on her plate (which was apparent there was enough to container up). When the bill arrived, it was wrong and had we have not looked, we would’ve been overcharged even though we both made it extremely clear we were doing the 3 for me deal they have. I don’t have the highest expectations for Chili’s and I know mistakes happen but the service from start to finish again felt rude, careless and...
Read moreOur company card was some how used at this location, “attempted 5 times” for the amount of $422 around 9:25pm 04/25/25 and just finding out why our card has not been working by our bank today. You’d think calling the location where your card was used may be a bit helpful in figuring out how this may have occurred or get some kind of help or concern, but no it’ll just turn into argument with their store manager ? I called first time was placed on hold and it turned to their voicemail. I had to call again for the staff to basically chuckle that that happen and they’ll get me the manager. I was told by this manager go speak to your bank nothing we can do and if it didn’t go through why even care basically. I did speak to the bank and they gave me every detail as to what happened and as a general manager myself you have cameras recording, you’re able to go back on your transactions from a year ago, you can check online orders and pin point exact transaction I’m talking about. I have date, time and amount. I felt so helped and I actually used to come to this location as a customer but definitely not anymore. I had people lose a scarf at my location and I went up and beyond for them, I hung up on him because he kept saying you’re not listening to me, there’s nothing I can do, I have more than 1,500 transactions, go talk to your bank. How rude and unprofessional! I guess they support scammers trying to use card info that doesn’t belong to them and chilis just cares how their transactions are paid! I’m sure an employee would have bells ringing in their mind and say wait I remember those people who card...
