Burger King — Restaurant in Shepherdsville

One drive thru lane open. Understandable, considering the signs about hiring and pay. Very short line. One ahead of me. Took about 5 minutes to get to the window. The young man took our money and then proceeds to wait for our food. I had to ask him for our drinks. The order was two spicy Chi-king meals. We received our food and pulled from the window. The sandwiches had no sauce. They were supposed to be smothered in spicy sauce. We go to the door and it is locked. Again, staffing shortage... I understand. So back through the drive thru. We get to the window and a young girl comes to the window and interrupts my telling the person at the window what is the issue. She says, "they have sauce on them. It isn't alot, but it is there." Excuse me?! If it was there, it was so tiny an amount that it was not visible nor was it able to be tasted... at all. She proceeds to explain how they ran out. Then they offer us a cup of sauce to pour on our sandwiches because they don't have anymore chicken cooked and it has to be hand breaded..... I ask how they can provide a cup of sauce they apparently just ran out of? The response is, "we were slammed and so the cook dipped the chicken in the pan and not enough was there to cover the chicken." So.... yall were slammed? But the line was empty. And the front counter only had zero customers and two employees laughing and looking in their phones. I remember them specifically because one had electric blue hair and the other had a head band on with eye brows drawn on. They were not inconspicuous and their laughter was loud. So, I am supposed to accept that the cook couldn't open a new pack of sauce and refill the dipping pan because y'all were slammed?? The retribution was an original chicken sandwich. We drive away and realize... the tea was old. Nasty! Nasty and lazy. Not...

My husband and I stopped in for lunch. We were greeted after a couple moments by a young girl. She took our order. I ordered two number 3s. With cheese, well done, both large size. I was rang up correctly for cheese large drinks but immediately given small cups. I looked at my husband and laughed and said well I guess we will just have to get a refill when we are done. They seemed as though they were busy at the window so I did not bother them about the cup size. Got our tray and went to the table. Sand which we were wrong. Instead of well done they were barely cooked. The patty was seriously raw undercooked and no cheese on both. I took them back up to the counter. Lady grabbed the sandwiches and looked at me. I gave her the receipt and told her what was wrong. She leaves the burgers on the counter and proceeds to go to the prep station. I return to the table. We wait about 10 mins and still no food so I walk back up to the counter. The lady notices me and starts to make my order. At this point there is no one else here or at the window but they are making three sandwiches. She brings me ours after making theirs. We get the burgers and sit to eat. Still nasty. I through it aside and eat my fries. $29 and the main item of the meal was cooked twice and still gross. I will not return here. This place needs a serious overhaul on staff. Two young girls, one young guy, one adult lady and none but one was...

A very consistent restaurant, I've been to this new one a few times now and my food has been fresh and hot, and I have not had to wait long, even with 6 cars ahead of me in the drive thru! It moved along very well! Friendly and courteous service, I'm glad they have put this store here in Shepherdsville. It surely beats getting a soggy cold burger that has been cooked for however long and just been sitting in a steam tray until some poor unsuspecting victim decides to go to McD's! Burger King IS, 300% better than McD's could even attempt, HANDS DOWN! The past times at McD's, the burgers were cold and tasteless, the cheese was unable to melt! NO worries about that happening at Burger King so far and I thank them for that! Keep up the great work! Getting a freshly grilled burger dressed how you want it, gives yourself a great sense of money well spent! Great food fast and fair priced! I highly recommend Burger King over the clown restaurant for everyone! Forever more!!! Thanks Burger King!
