Braum's Ice Cream & Dairy Store — Restaurant in Sherman

In hindsight we never should have eaten here. The place was not clean. Anywhere! We ordered then found out the co2 was out. So she poured a lukewarm soft drink from a 2 liter bottle. She asked another staff for a lid. So both of them touched my lid! And no staff here wore masks. No one! At the table I removed offending lid. Soft drink was almost flat anyway… I cleaned the table with some hand sanitizer and a napkin. You could see streaks from dirty cleaning rags and bits of food still on some tables. There were spray marks and bit of stuff on the wall over the table as well. The ice tea was on verge of souring. Perhaps it was old? Perhaps containers aren’t being cleaned enough? Most didn’t drink the tea. Burgers were ok. Fries were good. Spicy chicken sandwich was pathetic looking. Nothing like the picture and no bigger than a small burger. One ordered regular sandwich and got chicken club instead. While we ate 3 employees were at another table talking and complaining of hours on schedule. Guess they were on a break. This location at best needs a thorough cleaning! Possibly new management? I know it’s hard to hire employees right...

Sooooo I'm giving a star rating simply because I actual like Braum's. However! This time around a was a little disappointed! I go through drive through just for 2 malts. When I left I noticed it wasnt the right mixes I asked for... So I went back... awaiting patiently... I finally get it made correctly and this employee says "God Bless You" and we all know that can go two ways so I'm hoping it was meant in a good way 🙂 now as I leave from going inside to getting in my car I taste it and for some odd reason it had some stiff milky like stuff ... as if it might of came off the machine they mix with, but from some ice cream at an older time ... if that makes since .... I really wanted to go back in and ask for it to be redone with a clean blade....or ...just a refund for one of the malts, but I just tossed it because I was on a time frame and was ready to leave... but I still love Braum's good food just should watch and make sure things that are reused get cleaned off before it's used again....never know what someone could be...

This location can be a bit hit or miss depending on when you go. Definitely not the best Braum's I've been too but not the worst. We also buy all of our milk here. And for those who are not aware: the ice cream they sell in the grocery section IS NOT the same as the ice cream they serve from behind the counter, and it's nowhere near as good. An employee at this location asked my wife why we don't buy the ice cream in the grocery section (not randomly out of nowhere, I'm just starting the story here) and when she told her we don't buy it because it's not as good as the ice cream behind the counter and we don't like it she continuously argued that it was the same and would not let it go. It was as if she was trying to convince her to buy some ice cream we didn't want! But to end on a positive note, they usually do pretty well. The food is usually hot and fresh and the order is usually correct. Decent food at a decent price. I just can't recommend the tubs of ice cream from the...
