OMG.....this was the WORST experience I have ever had at a Home Depot. I went into the store on Sat. 3/24/18 to purchase approx. $400 worth of building materials for a remodel in my home. I needed them delivered so I ask a sales associate in the building material area how to go about getting that accomplished. He told me to go to the service desk. So, I did. After standing in line for about 20 min., the woman behind the counter(who was helping another customer) asked me what I wanted. I said I need to order some supplies and have them delivered. She told me to go stand in the other line at the customer service desk. So, I did. When I finally got to the counter and I explain what I needed, the young lady told me they did not do deliveries on Sunday and Monday. She even called someone to verify. So, i left. I went home and decided to place an order online for the supplies and have them delivered on Tuesday. When I completed my order, the delivery date came back as Monday 3/26. The delivery fee was $79 and I had to pay an extra $30 to have a scheduled time delivery. Since Monday came up a the first delivery date available I tried calling the store to verify if they would actually deliver on Monday. After being transferred and hung up on 3 time in a row, I called a 4th time and told them not to transfer me. I spoke to a guy named David and he verified that they do not do deliveries on Monday and that my order would be delivered on Tuesday. He then transferred me to the "delivery area" where a lady answered and verified the same thing. No deliveries from that store on Mondays. It would be Tuesday. So with that information I rescheduled my contractor to come on Tuesday. He then had to rearrange his schedule. Well low and behold, Monday morning rolls around and at 8:05 I receive a call from a guy named Bobby telling me he wants to deliver my order!! WTH??? I tell him no one is home and explain the situation and he proceeds to tell me he will get the delivery rescheduled for Tuesday. Well, Tuesday rolls around and I end up having to call Bobby to find out where my delivery is. He tells me he is in Atoka and that it is raining and that they deliver everything on a flat bed and they will not cover it with a tarp. I now have a contractor and his associate standing in my house waiting for supplies so they can begin working and no delivery. I called the store and come to find out the delivery had been rescheduled for Thursday. UGH!!!!!. I called the store immediately and cancelled my order. This was a cluster and the WORST customer service I have ever received in my life!!! I will be telling my family, my friends, my co workers and anyone else who will listen to NEVER do business with Home Depot again....
Read moreHome Depot is the worst store I have ever been in. Customer service couldnât be worse. (I have found this true no matter what town I have gone to). I paid to have my house measured for flooring. They measured and put in inaccurate information stating my garage had central heat and air. (It doesnât.) The cost of the flooring at 0.58 per square foot had lots of hidden charges and was going to cost over $7000.00, so, I went to ask about the price for just the garage. Then they said they count install anything that glues down in my garage since no central heat and air. I said it had a window unit and wall heaters, so they decided they could do it. I paid by check (mistake number one). Several days later (after check cleared), they notified us there would be an extra charge to check for lead. Two more days later, we were notified there would be yet another charge to sand down the concrete, but they canât do that for 2 monthsâŠ. Okay, so now I have had Enough!!!! I said to cancel the order and refund my money; I was going elsewhere. I was told I had to go into the store to do that and I would get my money back then. So, I drive 30 + miles to the store and am told they canât cancel my order because everything hadnât been delivered yet.?.?.?.? I was just told they could and to go to the store! Office manager agreed nothing could be done and I couldnât get my check back, it would have to be mailed (when everything came in.) He said they same thing had already happed 3 times this past week!!! đ”âđ« Needless to say, I am irate. They have my money. They wonât refund me my money so I can go elsewhere. They donât know when the order will be in to refund my money on an order they canât even do for over 2 months!!! Come on Home Depot. Canât you come up with better customer service than this. Moral of the story is: Donât shop with Home Depot Use a charge card so you can contact the card and have your...
Read moreFundamentally after the Brothers left this company they lost their compass on their policies, its now money over quality. They underpay their employees, this store has already made over 14 million this year(2021 so far) and cannot pay their employees more or even get more employees to make the store safer to work at. The lack of people who want to help is on a ratio of 5 people don't want to help to 1 person who does want to help. When you have an employee called 4 or 5 times to a department(Plumbing, Doors and windows, lumber) In Plumbing, there isn't enough coverage each day, doors and windows is ONE PERSON WORKING THERE, I feel bad for the lumber guys, because they get pulled to do outside orders, pro loading, moving orders, cleaning their department and dealing with disgruntled people who need stuff cut. The manager Justin is useless, he is being protected as a token person store manager of another store. So nothing he does will get him fired even if it breaks the company policy.
Fair warning when you go here, you'll not get a lot of help. If you do, the employees won't want to help a lot. But remember its not the employees fault, they don't get paid enough to do the full lay of the job. So some days you'll get a helpful person other you'll end up with no one or getting helped lack luster and probably with the wrong information. Plus in some positions they don't get fully trained for 6 months. Also the disinfection doesn't happen like they say they do, 0 employees disinfect anything, even during the lockdowns, they never did except once a or...
