Love this JCpennys, just recently I noticed there is a Sephora inside! Well with that being said I've gone inside of it a few times and a few of the employees are very nice, friendly and outgoing. Last night unfortunately I was a little baffled by the care of one employee, who I did not catch the name of. A young woman with blue tipped hair, checked me out when I asked about the birthday deal Sephora did she said "you have to come in your birthday month" and kinda blew it off. I responded and told her my birthday was this month actually on Tuesday. She proceeded to tell me that my birthday was not in the system mind you she wasn't very nice. So she finished ringing me up and handed me my bag and told me "bye have a nice day". I stopped and said "excuse me do I need to file something out for my birthday gift from Sephora?" She took my card again and saw that my birthday was IN FACT on my account, this girl acted like she had to give up a leg for this! Read moreHUGE shout out of appreciation to the JC Penney store in Sherman, TX! I had a very unhappy experience on 7/18/2021 because of a large purchase I made and not being able to use my 5 gift cards because they were "inactive" (being quite old). I completed my purchase & paid for the merchandise. I went home & contacted the gift card dept and they helped to convert the balances of my "inactive" gift cards into a new e-gift card that was emailed to me. I was still unhappy about not being able to apply the gift cards to my recent purchase. The store H.R. manager (Kevin Harder) called me personally & provided a solution to my complaint. When I returned to the store, a very courteous young man (Drew, I believe) helped me resolve my situation and converted a very unhappy buying experience (gift card issue; NOT store issue) into an extremely happy situation. I thank everyone for doing all things possible to correct this situation and I have a renewed loyalty to JC Penney and their concern for customer satisfaction! THANK YOU...
Read moreNormally I would have given jcpenny a 5 star review but, the store in my location dropped them down. I went on Sunday 11/4 to buy my daughter a pair of dress pants. We found the perfect pair, it was 50% clearly marked with the rest of the pants correctly. I get up to the register and they tell me they cant sale them to me because they scan the normal marked tag and it rings up 8 cents. Well you know what that's not my fault I told the cashier but they only had one pair in her size. She said I just cant sale these you will have to find something else. I was so mad I just left. I just dont understand how it's the customers fault when they have it advertised properly and it rings up wrong. They should of ducked it up and sold it to us. I ad to go to another place get a different pair of pants that we really didnt like as much but the pants had to be bought. Good job Jcpenney for making a regular customer...
