Had a bizarre experience at Canes. I went through the drive thru on 01/14/2023 at 12:10 AM check# 30081. I asked for a box combo and a gallon of sweet tea. The order was delivered promptly but the price didn't quite add up. I checked the receipt and saw I was charged $8.99 for a gallon of sweet tea even tho the menu and online prices indicated $5.99. I went back and the young lady at the drive thru insisted the $8.99 price is correct and in fact she said the actual price of a gallon of sweet tea was even higher. I asked why the menu at the drive thru or the online menu didn't reflect the new price. She said she doesn't know when the menu was printed and that Canes raised the price few months ago. I understand that prices might have gone up but why not change the menu price and online prices. That's very misleading!!! Please make sure your prices reflected accurately for your customers. My receipt doesn't even show that I got charged for a gallon of tea but rather a 3 finger combo which was odd. My food were correct in the bag but I don't know if I got scammed or this is miscommunication on Cane's part. Regardless, it was a bad enough experience for me to write this review. Hopefully, something will be done...

Everything else about this visit deserved five stars except guy behind counter 1) closed the drawer without giving me my change. 2) failed to ask my name, which is their only method of tracking orders 3) kept my receipt since he failed to get my name. Manager 1) took way too long to simply walk to the front of the store to open the drawer when the guy failed to get my change. 2) never asked my name, and 3) never addressed me at all to ask if other issues existed. All of this was pretty significant oversight for a brand new store. Probably would have been less obvious if I had not had a similar experience days after store opened in the drive thru lane. That day? Drive thru actually opened at 10:14 and took way too long to get my food. They definitely have serious bugs to work out. Primarily? Ā Ā Ā Read moreOkay, so I was here for opening day! Within the first 100 in line!! Whoot whoot! Haha. Well their fries were a little soggy, but everything else was great. I went back today thru drive thru and handed me my bag of food. However, the box was not closed all the way and there was a paper towel of some sort crumpled up under the box. And the Coke tasted like cleaning supplies. I was first in line so them cleaning the drink machines and pouring my drink right after I kind of understand (although! I am not drinking this, it tastes straight up like cleaner.) And the paper towel ? .. well I called and they handled it very well.. that's why I rated it 4 stars.
