The Treasury at Hotel on Phillips — Restaurant in Sioux Falls Township

Been to this restaurant a few times. Its only good on slow nights

I have come here and left after waiting up to an hour, more times than I have been able to order food or drinks.

25/75 shot the staff will ask if you’d like a drink, or completely ignore you.

If you are rude- you are way more likely to get a table. Likewise, after waiting half an hour for a table- for the remainder of your meal additional guests will hover over you like a pack of feral dogs. Its crowded, the staff aren't nice, its like trying serve food in the middle of a dance floor at once of the local clubs where everyone shoves each other to get where they need to.

Food is good, drinks are decent, but the service and atmosphere just sucks. Like its so bad, You would get better service at Pave, on a Friday or Saturday night than here- the wait times are shorter and the staff are so much friendlier and personable. Service was great, and condsidering its during burger battle thats a lot to ask for. The place has a grown up vibe to it, and no expense was spared on the finishes here. I really enjoyed all the little details, my favorite being the brass elephants on the bar rail. On to the food..... The Treasury has provided a burger worthy of a fight. A Waygu beef patty, cooked medium, topped with a few slices of potent, yet delicious, tolaggio cheese. Theres a Gochujang mayo with lettuce underneath the burger and a cucumber salad topping this burger. I have to admit the bacon on this burger is probably the best I've ever tasted and really just the little extra to put this burger miles above the rest. If this is the bar thats been set for the rest of Sioux Falls burger battle it's going to take a place with a lot of help behind them to come close to what this place is doing. Wow! I had to start with that. We chose to have dinner here. We assumed that the bar food would be small portions so we ordered 5 dishes for the two of us. Too much food. The portions are large.

The croquettes were just extraordinary. Not too cheesy but with a balance of onion and cheese fried with the most crunchy coating.

The cauliflower kung pao will make you vegetarian. It’s that good. The Brussels sprouts were outstanding! Crispy and not oily. Oh, then the sauce. Being Korean, this hit all of the notes of kimchi purée.

The pork belly sticks presentation set the tone for this dish. Beautiful, perfectly balance flavors, tender and crisp where it should be.

By the time we got to the beef lettuce wraps, we were too full to enjoy. Well done!
