I greatly enjoyed my visit to Woodgrain. I've been a few times in the past, but I feel with age and experience they are really shining now days. The space itself is nice and trendy. Not huge on comfort for long stays, but there is a rustic style choice they made that I think fits well enough.

The beer though, man. I was impressed. The Quadruple and their Barrel Aged Wheatwine were huge shining stars that left me sad that they are not staples that will stick around. The Peanut Butter Milk Stout v2 was a treat as well. Much stronger of a flavor profile than the first release! If you are a fan of IPAs their staple choice there is actually very smooth and light. You are not punched in the face by offensive hops, and I can easily see non-IPA fans enjoying it as well.

I know most people don't look as deep into their beer, but I was impressed with the brews in whole. The colors were very nice, with smooth texture and little debris if any inside the glasses. The aromas from the beer were wonderful as well and I think I enjoyed them almost as much as the taste.

Staff was very kind as well. I believe the bartender himself was one of the brewers and seemed to be genuinely interested in my opinions on the beer. Was fun to talk to him about a few of the...

My husband and I love a date night at WoodGrain. The beer is excellent without the selection being overwhelming. The staff are friendly and helpful. The whole place has a very laid back and fun vibe. During normal (non-COVID) times, we love to stay and have a drink or two while we play one of the many board or card games that are available. In the summer we love to sit outside on their beautiful patio and people watch. We even stopped by WoodGrain after our wedding last year to celebrate with a beer!

Right now we haven’t been staying at WoodGrain to enjoy our drinks, but they make it easy to order online and pick up a crowler of beer to go. Or, you can stop by and pick one up. We’ve done this a few times over the past few months, and, while it’s not as fun as a typical date night downtown, it’s...

We stopped in after dinner at around 11:00 pm on 7/26. My wife ordered me a Carnaval IPA while I was off in the bathroom. The beer was excellent, but it was served in a plastic cup (see pic)?!?! Had I known that was the late night policy, we would have gone somewhere else. Apparently the bartender didn’t want to wash any more glasses (even though there were other tables with glassware) and refused to serve the beer in a proper glass when asked. Sad way to treat an otherwise great beer!!! I highly recommended going here and we’ll probably try it again given the other great beer ratings they have on Untappd, but not late in...

I had a great experience there last weekend. The Mexican food truck Krazy Concessions outside their venue was awesome and was great with their beer. The people serving the beer are nice/friendly and they KNOW their beer! Tell them what you like, they will take care of you. It is a calming atmosphere with all the rustic wood elements, yet classy at the same time. They have games (card, board, etc) to pass the time while you are trying, or enjoying your beer.
