This was the first time I've had Del Taco since who knows when! I was actually really looking forward to it! Something different. Anyway, I put a mobile order in for the Big Box meal. Double Cheeseburger added ketchup and mustard, a bean and cheese burrito and added ground beef, soft taco normal, kindle fries large and a large power aid. Drive to location only one at the restaurant inside and out sat at the order box for about 5 minutes, no biggie, then someone said hello would I be using mobile order app, said yes I am, nothing for another 5, then again the same question, yes for Matthew, pull forward I pulled forward sat there for about 10 minutes. In my mind I knew they probably had to get stuff going from scratch since I was literally the only one there. I could see the whole crew chatting and looking at me, idk, maybe I looked goofy tonight only something, or maybe they're messing with my food idk, why its taking so long. Finally a young lady comes to window with a drink in her hand, I could tell right then that this order wasn't going to be right, she handed me a small or medium drink with some kind of soda in it, not what I ordered. I grabbed the drink from her and as soon as I grabbed it i knew it wasn't going to go well. As I am in transition from grabbing it from her to placing it in my cup holder, the cup collapsed, lid wasn't on all the way, and slid right out of my hand, cup actually landed in the cup holder but soda went everywhere. At that moment I went from 0-10 real quick because I had just spent a couple hours at the car wash taking care of my money maker thoroughly and this was my first stop after getting that done, so I had every right to get mad at that point. I hand her the half full cup back to her, my hand covered in soda, told her this is not what I ordered, I actually ordered a large drink which would be the power aid mountain blue blast or something like that. The look she gave me, especially when I said the lid wasn't on all the way, I can't mimic, but it was like she didn't believe me and/or it was my fault the lid wasn't put on properly. She ended up getting me the drink and shortly after brought a bag of food in a clear bag, box was sideways in the bag lid not closed all the way and I could see there definitely were no condiments, so I asked her for some ketchup and she came back with two handfuls, half of which ended up on the ground, then she handed me my bag. I was giving them the benefit of the doubt and said that maybe the taco sauces were in the actual box. So I drove around to park to eat. Opened the bag and the box. In that box, a small fry, I ordered a large, sorry, krinkle fries are my favorite, disappointed, opened up the burger, no ketchup no mustard and a single burger patty, box comes with a double, supposed to anyway, opened up the bean and cheese burrito the box comes with but I added ground beef, surprise no ground beef. Moving on to the soft taco if you want to call it that, it was a flour tortilla with lettuce and cheese inside that's it and lastly there was absolutely zero taco sauce. So not only did I spend a good bit of time cleaning my inside of my car only to get ruined 10 minutes later and the order I just spent $13-$15 bucks on, was all incorrect. I was pissed, I mean I was the only one there and I saw at least 5 employees in there and my order still came out completely wrong. I did not go back into that store because I was pist. Anyways, if anyone is reading this and orders from here, first make sure the lids are completely on your drink or drinks and when you do get your order, before pulling off, check your order for accuracy so you don't have an experience like I did. Highly disappointed, I was very respectful, I didn't mind the waits I had to wait for the very fact that I was again the only one there and it meant that everything would be fresh so to speak. Read moreDel taco used to be one of my favorite restaurants until my visit today what’s today’s date 11/11/23 at 3 pm in the store on Scenic Highway in Snellville. The manager was very rude to me and my family with my grandchildren present. We ordered our food which was over $70 and paid for it, we were informed that the shake machine was down and if we wanted to substitute the drinks. I told the cashier fine however, we would like a refund for the difference in price. The manager told me I would have to wait for my refund she would give me the refund later. She said that the had a line all the way around the building in drive-through. which was a complete exaggeration however, we got fountain drinks and ate our food. When I saw there was nobody in the line and family was finishing our meal. I went up to the cashier and asked for the refund as promised. I also explained to the cashier that they forgot to put fish in our meal. The cashier asked me if I know the difference a comment between fish and taco meat, I told her yes I do know the difference and both my wife and I could not see nor taste any fish in our meal. I was upset about the comment and what would prompt her to be that way to a customer. I have not been rude to her. I asked to speak to the manager. The manager told me that the shake machine is freezing right now. I told her we finiy our meal and we just need to get a refund for the difference of what we paid for the shakes. She wanted me to wait even after we finished our meal. She started yelling at me because I was asking for a refund I could not believe what I was experiencing , I told her why should we have to continue to wait and she started yelling at me some more along with the support of the cashier. By then I’m upset they’re upset my grandchildren and wife are upset. This is a terrible experience. I will never eat, at this Del taco again. For the amount of money that I spent I could’ve taken them to a nice restaurant. My hopes is that Del taco does not allow their standards to go down like what we experienced at the store. I hope someone from corporate sees this, but if there anything like the manager they hired I doubt it stay away from Del taco in Snellville on 24...
Read moreArrived at 10:05 on a Tuesday night. Sat in the drive through for over 10 minutes, and it hadn't moved a single car- I could see that the door was propped open, so I figured I could still go inside; I parked my car and went in, and the cashier, with a confused look, told me that they're closed other than drive-through. I mentioned that the door was propped open and she called out to the other employees, asking who did it. I got back into my car and got back in line at the drive through; luckily no other cars had gotten in line and it was now 10:20. There were 6 cars in front of me; 2 sitting at the main window and 4 waiting behind the ordering microphone/speaker. After another 10 minutes and only one car getting their food, and one of cars in front of me left because of the long wait, there were now 4 cars in front of me at 10:30. One more car finally went through a few minutes later by about 10:35. At 10:40 I felt that I had enough of waiting and decided to leave; but then saw that I was blocked in by a strategically placed median, preventing me from leaving, as there were also cars behind me - touché Del Taco! After all this waiting, I was starving and figured at least my tacos would be steaming hot and fresh...Nope! When I finally received my food at 10:54pm, I found that my tacos were cold- not just cooled down, but as if they were NEVER warm (at least within the past 30 minutes), I had to rearrange the ingredients on each taco unless I wanted pure bites of meat, pure bites of cheese, and pure bites of lettuce as they were all separated at different parts of the taco, AND to top it off, I asked for "Fire sauce" and they gave me mild. This was my first time ever going here, as...
