Just visited tonight 5/31/25. Iâve been here a handful of times already and the ice cream is very good. BUT I have a big problem with a crew that doesnât understand the importance of food safety and allergy awareness. One of the employees was refilling the toppings with a bonnet on. Very unprofessional. I stood in a nearly empty line and wasnât greeted for a good 5 minutes. I asked for a medium size of my flavors. Before I could say anything else, he just pushed the ice cream over the counter w/o suggesting toppings. I said âI wanted to add toppingsâ. He had the nerve to say that the cup would fit my toppings and he could put them in a tiny cup in the side. ABSOLUTELY NOT. Do your job correctly, sir! I said âNo I donât want it like that.â He decided to put it in a large cup with the toppings. This young man with neck length blonde, curl hair was pretty âdisconnectedâ to put it nicely. I ask for raspberry purĂ©e and as he starts dipping it out I stop him and notice thereâs a trace of either Reeseâs or some tree nut on top. I said âWait thereâs nuts mixed in there.â He seemed so oblivious! He asked if I wanted the toppings from another separate container, to which I said yes. This wasnât to be a pain, because I wanted walnuts. BUT nut allergic reactions are not to be played with and I am sensitive to certain tree nut flavors. When he gave me the ice cream I asked if he was ServSafe Certifies. He said, âWhat is that? I donât know what this.â I said âOh, ok.â Interesting! He offered to asked his manager. I said no need, it was alright. This young man said that thereâs a was a sign that shows the allergy disclaimer. I responded âWhat happens when you get a customer that didnât know they were allergic to one of the toppings, or trusted that thereâs no cross contamination regardless?â Yâall just hire anybody. Stay away from places that let their employees choose their dress code, have no proper customer engagement training , and most importantly: donât understand the critical nature of food handling to avoid a quick hefty lawsuit! NO WAY Iâm eating here again!!
Just a few major red flags I saw: Not wearing gloves Poor attitudes Cross contaminating tree nuts with other toppings NOT aware of basic food safety measures Mishandling...
Read moreToday we visited your cafeteria. A person who introduced herself as the manager came out of the staff toilet. I asked her if my 6-year-old niece could use the staff toilet instead of waiting in line. She said "no." This was an understandable answer. However, she then told us, "If you don't want to wait, go to the public restroom across the street." We got in line for the toilet with my 6-year-old niece next to us.
Just before it was our turn, the manager came and told the last customer being served that the staff toilet was out of order. Then she told those customers, "You can use the toilet." When it was our turn, she automatically locked the door. I went to her and explained that we needed to use the toilet as my 6-year-old niece was about to go. I asked if she could unlock the door. She replied, "Take the child and leave."
In my opinion, this manager is truly a bad person. What kind of person would prevent a 6-year-old child from going to the toilet and take pleasure in it? Thankfully, the Lego store allowed us to use their toilet even though we weren't customers. So, your manager is indeed a bad person. Please review the camera footage between 16:20 and 16:30 on Wednesday, July 10, 2015. Why would someone prevent a 6-year-old child from using the toilet? When I asked why she did this, she said, "I'm the manager here, I do what I want, now leave." I was so angry.
Please train your staff. A 6-year-old child cannot hold their bladder. I'm very curious as to why the automatic toilet was locked when it was our turn. I think she's racist because I'm not American. That's all I have to say. This is the first time in my life I've complained about someone. This is the horrible manager ı...
Read moreI wanted to like this place, but everything about it sucked from the moment we walked in. The line was chaotic and disorganized, and the specifics of the menu are not well explained. For instance, the first person who took my daughterâs order for a brownie sundae asked only the type of ice cream and did not offer for her to customize toppings in any way. The next (deeply unfriendly) young woman who took my order for a cookie sundae asked me if I was okay with the standard toppings, but then picked my ice cream for me. When I asked why I wasnât asked to select a flavor, I was told by the boy who took my daughterâs order (who was actually nice) that it comes with a standard flavor.
While the young woman remade my order, she was incredibly unfriendly and stone faced about it. When I received it, there was a mountain of whipped cream on it and all of the ice cream was watery. I donât know if this is just their standard, but it was gross. My daughter and I threw out 23 dollars worth of ice cream minutes later.
The cherry on the suck sundae that is JP Licks is the entire place was gross. A package of OPENED yogurt sat for sale in the refrigerated register case, the bathroom clearly hadnât been cleaned in the recent past and smelled as if someone urinated all over the room, and the floors everywhere inside were nasty.
The only nice thing I can say is that the kid who took my daughterâs order was genuinely attempting to be nice and helpful. The rest was a waste of time and money, and the sorry excuse customer service from that girl put a damper on the night. Thanks for the...
