Overpriced, terrible service, and a general rip-off.

I want to make it clear that 99% of what I'm writing has more to do with Kay's policies and very little to do with the employees at this location; most of them were extremely kind, courteous, and responsive. I went to drop my wedding band off for sizing on 10/31. We were informed it would be $130 (most places do it for free or FAR cheaper, apparently it would have been such had I bought the band from Kay) but I just wanted it done so fine, here's my money.

I received my ring back on 11/22. It took a week to get to the mass warehouse they send their jewelry for adjustment but they promised it would be back by the sixteenth. My bone to pick is that for this amount of money and such a sentimental item, I would have hoped for at least some way to track the item's progress through the process or some kind of correspondence...at all. Instead it was on me as the customer to keep haranguing the employees about getting my ring back. I understand the difference between a corporation big-box jewelry place and a family run business, but I hope Kay updates their policies....or act least stops advertising themselves as a full...

I’ve gotten three rings at this Kay Jewelers, and I can honestly say, "Every kiss begins with Kay," is true for me! My girlfriend (now fiancée!) wanted a unique green sapphire, but they didn’t have it in stock due to the rarity of the stone. Hakan went above and beyond, informing me about their gemstone pop-up event where I found the perfect green sapphire he sourced for me. He also helped me select the ideal ring setting, and I was engaged shortly after. The ring was crafted on the spot in under two hours—an amazing experience!

After such a positive experience, my fiancée and I returned for our wedding bands. Deborah was incredibly helpful, guiding us through trying on more than six rings. Jennifer also provided thoughtful feedback and support, helping us choose and order the perfect bands. Hakan and the team sealed the deal with expert sizing and beautiful engravings.

We are so grateful to Hakan, Deborah, and Jennifer for their positivity, expertise, and for making such an important milestone so special. They really know their stuff, and there was no pressure throughout the process (which was great since I’m not a jewelry guy!). Thank you, Kay Jewelers,...

I will like to take this opportunity, and thank this amazing young man for assisting me today on selecting items for my husband. Hiram went above and beyond to satisfy and answer every question I had in regards to the item I was purchasing. Hiram made it so easy, and satisfying. I am pretty sure that he knew that I was stressed Hiram took care of me and handled it in such a professional, and calm matter. His customer service, and knowledge are beyond the extreme Hiram is very aware of his product, and great personality and attitude, and even though I was under to stress, he was willing to work and understand where I was coming from and what I need it. I very hard to come across employees that love and understand most importantly are willing to deal with difficult customers as I was one of them and be patient and professional as Hiram was. Kay Jewelers are very fortunate to have such an amazing employee as Hiram. I hope you guys value and appreciate his work ethics. Hiram, thank you so much for going above and beyond.
