Darling, an Ice Cream Shop — Restaurant in Sonoma

Wow, this was absolutely incredible. I usually can’t even finish a single scoop of ice cream, but I devoured this in no time. The texture was so smooth and slightly chewy, and the flavors—Lavender Honey and Cappuccino Crunch, I think—were just perfect.

The lavender had a noticeable presence without being overwhelming, striking the perfect balance. The cappuccino, too, was right in the sweet spot—neither too bold nor too subtle. There were also these little crunchy bits coated in chocolate, probably coffee-flavored, that added a nice texture.

The combination of the Lavender Honey and espresso was amazing. Switching between the two flavors made it even more enjoyable, and before I knew it, I’d finished the whole thing. Honestly, this might just be the best ice cream...

This place is very special. We are truly grateful to have such a fun and flavorful local ice cream shop. They have custom flavors often emphasizing locally sourced fruits and other tasty ingredients. Their flavors change every month and they are posted on their web site. This is a regular family outing for us. We love this place. Darling Ice Cream is such a gem in Sonoma! We tried the strawberry in a sprinkle cone and a scoop of stracciatella, and both were absolutely amazing! Creamy and full of flavor. The prices were really reasonable, which was such a pleasant surprise. I was able to order a half a scoop for three dollars, which is amazing because I don’t need a ton of ice cream !!
