Vietnamese Pho Ly — Restaurant in South Burlington

We went for a quick dinner at this little eatery in South Burlington. The storefront is off the main road and plenty of parking. Service is friendly and quick but the food is mediocre. The pho broth has no flavor and mostly just salty. Lacking beef in the broth. Portion is generous and the bean sprouts looked aged. 😆 No photo of the bun with grilled pork but protein portions are a little skimpy. The spring rolls are very hard and crispy, without the right dipping sauce. Disappointing as we were hoping to find something close and convenient that is tasty. 😔 Prices are fair but beware of added taxes on your receipt. We had to question them why the 20% add on taxes. They have a lot of room for improvement if they could just get the basic...

Had a very bad experience through DoorDash.

We ordered a beef fried rice, and Vietnamese beef stew with yellow noodles but received a chicken vermicelli dish and beef stew with rice noodles. Not what we ordered! (In addition, the beef stew is pictured being served with some bread, also did not receive bread)

After receiving a refund from DoorDash, we reordered the BEEF fried rice and then received a fried rice with no meat, and a curry dish we didn't even order. Not sure how you mess up someone's order twice in the span of a few hours, or if our dasher got handed the wrong order.

I ordered takeout which included an appetizer and two entrees. I was expecting more based on the other reviews, however I felt my order had a few issues. The roll appetizer combo (egg, shrimp and tiger) were all overcooked and lacked any flavor other than the sauce they came with. The two entrees were flavorful but again were overcooked - the vegetables in both dishes were mushy because of this. It should be noted that I ordered mid-afternoon and the restaurant had very few in any customers at the time.
