Visited the store evening hour just before sun down. Ordered two soups a side of potatoe salad and a French dip with extra pickles. Got home and after unwrapping my French dip realized it was an Italian Sub and no pickles. Looked at my ticket and realized they put the order in wrong. Frustrated that I had to drive 5 miles to correct my order I walked in and as I was walking halfway down the middle Isle I made a comment that they needed to learn English. Didn't say it ugly or loud. Told the girl what happened and that I didn't want my money back just wanted the corrected order. Young manager came out and I explain it again not ugly or loud just wanted my correct sandwich so I could get back to my dinner table at home. Before leaving the counter to fix my order the young manager told me I was disrespectful and needed to apologize. Kinda of taken back by his request knowing I wasn't being ugly about the correction I quietly apologized to the girls at the counter. The young manager went back to correct my order. I said nothing but I'm sure there might have been a little discussed look on my face for the discomfort it caused me. Thinking about my apology when the manager came out I calmly ask him who was going to apologize to me for my extra trip back to the restaurant. He apologize as calmly as the request was made and I exited. When i started to pull off in my car this 5'6 inch guy comes walking out minding everyone's business but his own and attempted to threaten me and told me not to come back. My first reaction was to get out of the car and help him to understand a few things but realizing he was all mouth and stirring things up so I used better judgement and decided to just leave. I think the guy must have been hanging out there. Either way it ruined my dinner and caused me to get upset after the entire episode was already over. Needless to say McAllisters will never get any business from me or my family again. I feel the need to repeat that never did I use ugly language or speak loudly on my complaint. I'm sure the cameras will prove that. The little man was somewhat different in the parking lot. I will be letting my friends know about this encounter and in the future the customer should always be right especially when the scene was not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI just left this location. I order the same meal Everytime. I get the chicken salad sandwich. Instead of the bread I ask for it to be placed in a large cup. That's not hard to comprehend. A young lady from the kitchen comes out to ask me how I wanted my order even though the front cashier already explained it to the kitchen staff. Mind you the two front cashier's are very nice and very friendly. Once, my order is being bagged I asked the question if the cup is a large cup. The nasty assistant manager comes out and replies for the young lady. Again, I wasn't talking to her. At that point the young cashier and guy asked me a question. In the middle of them asking the manager cuts them off mid-way. Those 2 kids were afraid to respond after her answer. From the looks of it she presents a very threatening attitude towards her staff and customers. Those poor kids couldn't even say anything after that. At that point I told the young guy you can ask the question because she can't prevent you from doing so. At that point he was afraid too. I asked for her managers name. Mike if that's you and you're reading this I will be reaching out to corporate. Under no circumstances should we the customers be treated rudely when our money spent is keeping this restaurant afloat. Secondly, the way your assistant manager treats those kids are unacceptable. To say she has such an attitude when I called back for her name she refused to provide it. I hope you handle her because she doesn't need to be in that position...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMe and my mom are considered regulars at this restaurant. We eat here on her lunch break 5/7 days a week and I order our food at the same time everyday so itāll be ready before she gets there so she can go back to work. There have been times where my bread on my sandwich was too toasted, theyāve scrapped tomatoes off it when I asked for none (you could see the juice on the bread), the cookies have been too hard, my salads been messed up, but Iāve never had bad service up until the other day we went. There were no booths clean so I asked a lady if she could grab the two plates off one while she was passing it and she told me I could do it.. so I did. Nobody stopped me from cleaning it. While ordering, the cashier interrupted me to tell me āitās a 20 minute wait on food if you still want to orderā. I told her that was fine and that I come there almost everyday so Iām use to the times and she rolled her eyes at me. When my food was ready, I seen it in the window and asked her for it because my mom was there and she has a time limit, and she told me it wasnāt mine yet gave me the same food ten minutes after it sat there. Iām not sure what happened, but it will be a long while before...
