Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in South Carolina

Oh man I love this place. I didn't even know it was here until a friend of mine and my fiance started working here (James - go see him, he's amazing, so professional, kind and just an amazing human being!) but they legit have the BEST smoothies... My favorite is the Kiwi Quencher with different additives. I had the chicken quesadilla tonight with a side of ranch and that ranch is the best I've had in years! It's right next to Hobby Lobby. My fiance and I had my quesadilla, his wrap, and a large smoothie and it was under $30 WITH TIP! We are at Bojangles the other day, it was crap, and we paid the same amount. The food is fresh and healthy and worth every penny spent. If you haven't checked it out in Bluffton yet, you are 100% missing out. I get excited Everytime we visit and I'm able to grab a smoothie! Support a local business rather than these fast food restaurants that will literally throw together crap and not care because they know you will come back. I did a 3 because of multiple times of not giving me the EDIBLE straws I order online with my smoothie order . So, I probably lost a good $15 to $20 because you pay extra for the edible straws. Then I had to start calling them before the order gets piked up to make sure they did give me the edible straws and not the plastic ones because I do pay extra and they told me over the phone that they did make sure they are with my order.

Shame I have to call and then still got told a lie.

All in all I love the veggie hummus wraps and their smoothies are good-just a shame with customer service. They should read the orders that come in because they do have on the receipts edible straw

I used to go here all the time. I even have the app. I think I'll be deleting it now. I ordered today and tried to pay with cash, a $50. They said they don't take $50's anymore. I thought they might be in business to make money. I guess not. I didn't have anything else so I had to leave. I wanted to pay cash, and got kicked out because my bill was too large. The bad review is because of how excited they looked when they didn't have to do my order. If I worked at a place that didn't take $50's, I would at least suggest going next door to another store to have it changed. I'm really tired of bad customer service in the south.
