KFC — Restaurant in South Padre Island

We showed up around 830pm. Hours posted online and on the physical door in front of me said open until 10pm. Lobby was locked with people inside who had to figure out how to unlock it to let themselves out. Went through the drive through. Cashier was rude as could be. We ordered two chicken tender meals and one set of 3 breasts. We received ZERO chicken tenders. All of our chicken was bone-in with random wings and drumsticks thrown in. I asked for sauce and got an eye roll. This was some of the worst service I’ve ever received and I was ready to give them the benefit of the doubt, but to not even receive the proper food? It wasn’t even worth driving back to deal with the same shitty service to try to get the right damn food I ordered. Y’all were awful and we will be going back during the day to complain...

Definitely a place that you must visit if you're tired of the overpriced and extravagant fare of a typical tourist atmosphere that dominates this island Paradise. KFC always was and always will be a welcome staple for those of us who desire nothing more than a well balanced and reasonably priced meal on the go. Be sure to share pleasantries with the local staff who are bilingual and very friendly and ready to cater to your needs as well. Don't hesitate to say hello to the staff managers Blanca and Geraldo, as well as your servers, Jose, Cheyenne, Sandra and Berlinda who are always ready to welcome you with a friendly smile and treat you like family while you are there! Everybody needs...

Yesterday, 11-2-22, at dinner time, I went thru the drive-thru in my beach golf cart, staff was friendly & loved my lime green running lights, which glowed brightly at dusk.

The food order was perfectly prepared, hot food & they even got my unsweet tea correctly (most other places serve sweet tea, so I always check it before I leave).

Friendly staff & great food, they even managed to get my order correctly. I’m impressed, as restaurants are having such a hard time getting good help.

Congrats, Mr Manager!!! PS Forget any negative reviews, as they are just folks that don’t understand how difficult it is in the restaurant business...
