The lady on the Black car is an employee with the worst attitude! I asked to my waitress on charge to ask if she could tell them to move the car. The answer was: not sure if she will able to. I would probably understand if there was a packed night. But there is no one at the bar on Thursday at 7.47pm. So, after 15min I came directly to the lady and she told me... oh that is a no parking place. So why are you parked there? And then. I called for the manager and newer showed up. She came back and he said after serving she might move the car. So, there is a parking lot next to the restaurant"not for customers" but it is for employees who parked behind? Worst customer service ever!
That was all after I had paid for my food and provided a tip, only to not be given the right amount of change back because they only give quarters, meaning that if you don't reach a quater of change they just keep the change, this is not shown in any sign in the restaurant. We also requested for a one pound plate of prawns divided on two plates, as they were for sharing on a big table. The restaurant then charged as if it was two half pounds. Then when querying this at the payment I was told there "is nothing we can do because you have already eaten it", when clearly they could have simply modified the bill at this point.
Overall there was a lack of clarification from waiters and management regarding the order we made and the change given when we paid, as well as a general lack of care and interest in satisfying the customer at even the most basic level.
P.s. there are no signs that...
Read moreRude bartender, they're very entitled, rushing you to order, and making fun of you gossiping. I'm a 24 year old woman I was dressed adequately and I was completely sober, I was trying to order and they told me rudley to move "I couldn't stand there to order" I apologized with a smile and they looked at me with a serious bothered face, I still ordered one drink, and they started talking in between each other looking at me, I left to see how my car was and when I came back the bouncer didn't let me back in (mind you I only had 2 drinks at that time) I asked what had happened and he said we just don't want to let y'all back in "I was with my brother and he is very skinny because he is sick and they were looking at him with disgust" we asked to speak with someone that would actually speak to us since the bouncer acted like he couldnt hear us right in front of him. Since we got there we were sitting down bothering nobody. While there was other people drunk dancing (which that's what I would expect made more sense to get taken out for) we did nothing to be treated that way, this has never happened to me before I will never be back at this establishment they need to talk to their workers because you're providing a service and you can't pick and choose who you like or not just because you don't like how someone looks or I actually never knew the reason... I hope this never happens to anybody I just think that was very unprofessional. Thankfully I realized that we act depending on what we have in our heart, I won't let this kind of thing get to me I'm just very...
Read moreWhat a great gem for us to find. Or maybe not a gem since it’s well known, but whatever. Tequila Sunset Bar & Grill is a fantastic spot to do it all. Watch the game, see live music, catch the fireworks; you can quite literally do that all here, plus watch the sunset too as the name implies. Parking is pretty abundant outfront and the place is very clean with a nice, open layout. The outdoor patio is dog friendly which is a plus since we never forget our furry friend.
Onto the food, we ordered corn dogs with a side of french fries and their Hawaiian BBQ chicken wrap. Their corn dogs were solid as were the fries. It came out extremely hot which made it a bit difficult to eat but you can never really complain about a hot meal at the end of the day. As for the Hawaiian BBQ chicken wrap, it was absolutely fantastic. We were actually a bit blown away by how good it was since our food experience in SPI to that point was not very good, but this was downright great from the chicken to the tortilla and everything in between.
On the drinks side, we ordered three: a piña colada, mango daiquiri, and banana foster’s colada. All of the drinks were okay, nothing too special to note other than the fact that they didn’t really feel like they had that much alcohol in them. To some that can be a good thing, but on these they just felt like they were a light pour more than so sweet you can’t taste it. Other than that, our experience here at Tequila Sunset was great. Drinks were decent, food was great, and what a view. We will definitely be back whenever we’re...
