Burger King — Restaurant in South Portland

The manager was disgusting. I ordered a burger and while waiting for it, wat he'd the manager standing next to the burger station wearing food gloves and texting on his phone. He finished texting, put the phone in his pocket, touched his face then grabbed a bun and put it on the counter to be made. That was my bun so I got the attention of the girl who took my order. Told her that whoever that person is I don't want them making my food and why. The man comes from around the burger station, takes off his gloves, and says to me "Is there a problem?". I said he was just using his phone and shouldn't be making food with the same gloves on because it's disgusting. He proceeded to tell me if I was going to yell at him to get out of HIS store. I laughed at him and said I'm speaking normal and you're mad I called you out. He called me a liar and he wasn't playing on his phone, I told him I just watched him and knew what pocket he put it in. He gave me a hard time and then started to walk away when I asked if he was the manager. He turned around and said, "Yes, Why?". I said there are food safety standards and can't believe you're the manager. He was a large man with an untucked shirt that was filthy, the edges of the material were frayed very badly, with a couple of rips and it looked like it was pulled out of the dirty clothes pile for the day. He wore no name tag and acted so unprofessional. He retreated to his office after giving me an attitude when he could have just apologized. It was already almost 5 pm and I wasn't trying to make an issue out of it. I simply wanted someone touching my food to wear clean gloves like they are supposed to. There was only 1 other woman in place. Tables were dirty, the floor was dirty and another girl was leaning along the drive-thru area who was also playing on her phone rather than doing any type of work. I can see now why they were not busy at that time of day. The burger didn't even taste good and wasn't hot. Worst visit I've ever had at a Burger King to date. Would recommend going to the Wendy's around the corner from here instead. If possible to do zero stars...

so i ordered 2 spicy chicken wraps with no royal sauce no tomatoes the guy over the microphone was already rude from the start when i asked for a minute to look at the menu and he said “yup” following with a sign. he continuously tells me no royal sauce goes on them when every time i go to bk and ask for that they just say okay instead of arguing. i get them and head home there is tomatoes and royal sauce, i go back and ask them to remake it he still argues with me about the royal sauce. i get them remade come all the way home AGAIN trusting they fixed the issue which was clearly a mistake i should have checked it there because there was extra royal sauce, some liquid that looked like it had bubbles in it (im not going to assume spit or soap for the sake of my own mental LOL) and pickles. pickles don’t even come on any of the wraps so the employees here are clearly just spiteful and if that mystery liquid is what i think it is purely evil lol. south portland location by the mall btw. i’m not normally a karen about stuff like this but like i said it’s just a really mean reaction to their...

If I could give this place no stars I would because they don't even deserve one. I visited this burger King the night of the 11th I was the only one In the lobby at the counter and had to wait ten minuets for service. The kitchen was nasty and very dirty as well as the lobby the bath room was the cleanest in this place. the girl who waited on me her clothes were nasty and covered with somthing. It took another 20 minuets to get my food. 2 cheeseburgers and a fry and a bacon cheeseburger and 10 piece nugget. While I was waiting the 20 minuets for my food a guy came in and told the lady that they had gotten his order wrong at the drive thru. This guy got his stuff remade before I got mine. When I got my order the fries were cold and mixed with onion rings and apperantly quite old I got 4 orders of cold ten piece nuggets that were cold. The cheese burgers weren't even hot they were almost warm because they sat because they forgot my bacon cheeseburger.
