Went here to pick up an order with Uber Eats, Waited 20 minutes after I I accepted the trip to go over and pick up food because its usually not ready as sion as you accept a trip..
When I got there, it wasn’t clear what the process was to pick up for Uber. No employees at the counter to greet people arriving to place an order or pick up or direct them where to wait, so I waved a lady down and inquired whether I needed to check in or, whether I just wait for the order to be put out on the rack?
Lady told me in annoyed tone that all orders were 45 minutes and didn’t really answer my question. So i assumed i just needed to wait patiently. Twenty minutes later another girl asked if I had been helped and I said I was waiting for an Uber Eats order and she confirmed that was coming up in a few minutes. Waited another 25 minutes only for the first lady to ask me what I was waiting on and then she realizes the order had been completely forgotten and hadn’t even been started! she couldn’t even find it in the system until she went out back and found it somewhere . it had now been over an hour since I excepted the delivery request and just standing in the lobby waiting for nothing.
Had to cancel the order after the customer had been waiting over an hour patiently for their food that never got made. probably eagerly looking at their app with my car idly sitting at this restaurant for an hour while sending the message “driver is picking up food”
Its just like everywhere else the last year or so. Nobody has any staff. Or not enough for things to run smoothly when there’s only a skeleton crew working and cant keep up with orders
It’s just infuriating when you’re standing there waiting for an hour and three different times they tell you your order is on its way, they’re working on it and then you find out it was...
Read moreMy fiancé and I came here and ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and a turkey bacon club. Upon receiving our meal the bread on the spicy sandwich was covered in mold.
When I brought the sandwich up to be remade the girl working seemed not to care and took my plate. When the remade came up I wasn’t sure so I asked her and she impatiently said yes and walked away
My fiancé and I were pretty fed up so I went to the counter and brought back the food and asked for a refund. I was told the manager wasn’t in the building and that I would have to wait. The man helping me couldn’t speak English very well and had to use a translator which honesty wasn’t a big deal. The guy was very nice and apologetic and wanted to help me out.
After a short while the manager came up asking me what was going on and after explaining he apologized and told me that they were going to make sure the bread was going to be looked over more thoroughly and apologized again.
Honestly he was incredibly good at his job and I appreciated his managerial style very much.
I will say service would have been 5 stars had it not been for the blatant, uncaring attitude of the first girl. The manager and the Spanish speaking man were extremely nice and did everything they could to help so even though I may not ever go to this location again due to the moldy food, I think those two should transfer to a better location because their talents are being wasted most likely due to the General Manager’s incompetence to run this...
Read moreVery disappointed. I haven't been for a while and I don't like the changes. First, I asked the cashier to enter my phone number for my rewards and was told that they don't do it anymore, that I need to enter it because they want their customers to be "self sufficient". I told her that if I wanted to be self sufficient that I wouldn't be eating in a restaurant. This was after they tried to get me to place my own order on a kiosk.
I then asked for my cup for iced coffee and was told that they now make it for me. What happens to self sufficient? I finally get it when my food is ready, I have to wait while they top it off because they left way too much room for cream, then balance it with two trays with our lunches. I stop and add cream, only to find that they no longer have straws near the coffee and cream because they don't have ice coffee they're anymore. Another trip across the crowded restaurant to retrieve a straw.
A little later, I wanted a refill on my ice coffee. I had to interrupt the food prep people to get a refill. Rather than refill my cup, I'm handed a new cup, again, with too much room for cream. I didn't bother to ask, just took it and left.
Bottom line is that they have made reading there much less convenient and the process continue to rise. With so many great local options, I won't be headed back...
