Local Infusion — Local services in South Portland

The location is great, central and right off the highway. Parking is ample. The building is clean and the facility is neat and spacious. You can tell that time was taken to decide what color scheme and decorations should be used.

I was greeted as soon as I walked into the door. I was shown around the facility and then to my own private room. They had an area with snacks and drinks which was very well stocked.

The patient room is very spacious and private, with a door you can close if you choose to. There is room for a guest to accompany you. They offer an extremely comfortable electric reclining chair and TV with all the apps you could imagine. Soft, cozy, warm blankets are available, which was amazing!

The nurses were extremely caring and professional, looking to do everything they could to ensure my visit was a good one. Everything was explained to me and the infusion process was timely and efficient.

I am very pleased with Local Infusion. I am happy to have an alternative to the standard infusion environment. They have done a great job in understanding their patient needs and providing everything they can to meet those needs.

One of the standout features is the private rooms, equipped with a TV, a heater, and cozy blankets. It’s nice to have those comforts during your treatment. They also provide lunch, and I’m sure if you’re there later in the evening, dinner is an option too. How thoughtful!

This infusion center is amazing. Friendly, helpful, smart staff. They have thought of everything to make patients as comfortable and welcomed as possible. The nurse and other staff recognize any infusion issues quickly and manage calmly and with expertise. Drinks, snacks, warm blankets, Netflix, and the most comfortable recliner chair make it best choice if you have to be somewhere hooked to an IV for half the day! Highly recommend over hospital or clinic associated infusion centers if appropriate for your type of infusion! I felt safe and well cared for.
