Wendy's — Restaurant in Southington

I went to the Wendy's at 1799 Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike Southington Connecticut at 3:30 p.m. on 11/18/23. Went inside to order and the employees were playing rap music so loud that the bass was rattling the building. There was no way I could stay in there and eat. The employees were dancing around not even noticing that there were those of us who walked in to order and immediately walked out. I got back in my car and went to the drive-thru and of course I couldn't hear the gal who was taking my order because the music was drowning her out. I placed my order pulled up to the window and asked the gal why the music was so loud she just looked at me ... shook her head and then she said some of the employees like to listen to their music. I told her this was ridiculous it was a business and I couldn't eat inside because the music was too loud and inappropriate for a business. Obviously there was not a manager there or this would not have been going on. I got my food pulled away and of course my fries were cold. But I figured since they didn't care about my hearing they weren't going to care that they gave me cold fries. Very, very disappointed with this Wendy's. I won't...

CAUTION SCAMMERS UNAUTHORIZED DEBIT CARD PURCHASE* I visited this location on august 11 2022 just before closing. Ordered with drive thru didn’t receive my debit card, my fault for not paying attention. Either way why would you hand me my food and beverages before my card. Anyway employee used my card for QVC unauthorized purchase $279.00. District manager acknowledged the theft. Terminated employee and told me call police it’s out of their hands as they cut ties with terminated employee. Basically discarded any liabilty of their company for employee doing this act on the clock. Reached out to corporate which is a joke in itself been on wait hold 3 hours(still waiting as I write this). Also as I am waiting 7-10 business for a reverse to my account I felt compelled to make everyone aware of the gross excuse of customer service. I had the pleasure of dining in at Wendy’s recently, and I must say—this visit was exceptional from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and a clean, welcoming dining area. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, going out of their way to make sure my order was perfect and served fresh.

My food came out hot, fast, and beautifully assembled—everything tasted fresh and flavorful, especially the fries which were crisp and perfectly salted. The associate who brought out my tray even checked in a few minutes later to see if I needed anything else. That level of service is rare in fast food, and it truly made the experience feel special.

You can tell the team here takes pride in their work. From the spotless tables to the upbeat energy behind the counter, it was clear this location is well-managed. Dining in at Wendy’s felt more like a casual sit-down restaurant than a typical fast-food stop.
