I love Cubby's but today I was disappointed. I ordered 4 double patty Dragon Slayers and a Mixed Berry Chicken Salad. The Salad was superb, and that's why I'm giving 3 stars. But the burgers were horrible, I'm talking soggy bun, meat that was over cooked and mine had a musty smell. I was eating with family, that's why I bought 4 burgers. And let me tell you, I didn't even eat 1/2 of mine it was that gross. And I gave a Dragon Slayer to two of my brothers. My brother "J" said it wasn't that good, he said "5 Guys" is a lot better. My brother "A" mentioned that his bun was soggy and the burger tasted bad. He wouldn't even let his son eat the 4th burger because he was worried it would make him ill. My dad also refused the burger! Usually I just get the single patty but there were so many negative reviews talking about how small that burger is 2.5 ounces I thought I would splurge for the double patties, and was left underwhelmed. Paying for 1 dragon slayer is bad enough, but paying for 4 that were terrible is just sad. My mom suggested I call the restaurant for a full refund but I was going hiking up the canyon with my brother and didn't want to drive back over to Spanish Fork. And we eat at Cubby's often, because they give me a military discount which is much appreciated, however the Dragon Slayer double patty hamburger today was 1 Star and left a bad taste in my mouth "literally." We were there at about 11:15 breakfast had just ended, maybe they forgot to clean off the grill. All I know is the musty smell from my hamburger made me feel sick. I had to stop eating it! My wife thinks that they rushed our order, not sure what happened because usually we love Cubby's in Spanish Fork :(
Edit: Changed review to 5 stars because a refund was offered/received for the bad burgers. And I was there just a few days ago, the salad is still superb...
Read moreHave eaten at Cubby’s in Provo and American Fork and always enjoyed the Tri-tip steak salad. Told my parents what a good salad it was, so we ordered 3 steak salads. We opened our salads and mine had less than half the amount of steak than the other two, so I called the server over to show him. He agreed and said he would get me some more steak. While I was waiting I mixed in the dressing and then a young lady came out and told me there was no more steak and that they had run out halfway through making my salad! I asked why they hadn’t just come and told me so that I could order something else. I then asked if I could just be charged for half a salad and she said no because I had already paid for it and it couldn’t be changed and asked me if I wanted anything else. I said no and she almost expected that I should just accept the salad that she had given me. I told her I wanted a refund. She seemed extremely annoyed but said yes and took away the salad. After a while I went up and asked if they needed my card to do the refund and she very sulkily told me she had already refunded me. I asked for the receipt and she said she couldn’t print it. I then asked how I was supposed to know that she had refunded me. Again she very rudely asked if I wanted her to prove it to me and I said yes. She then swung the screen around and showed me. There was no apology, nothing. Just rude looks from all the staff as though I had caused a problem. Plus the other two salads were nothing like the ones I have had previously. A lot of lettuce, a few cherry tomatoes and peppers and virtually no feta cheese at all. I will not be back and nor will my family. My mother commented that we would have got a better...

We've been here twice and both times it was horrible. Let's go into detail:
The staff The customer experience was horrendous, the staff was rude and mocked us when we asked about our food. The girl we asked turned around, right after we talked to her and repeated what we said mockingly to her friends and rolled her eyes. There were 10 employees working, with food sitting under the warmer for much longer than it should have. Most of the employees weren't doing anything, some on their phones, others just to engaged in conversation with each other to care about what they were doing.
The food We paid over $40 for 2 people (price gouging at its finest). The burgers were dry. The buns soggy (weird, huh?). The shakes were the consistency of milk -- as if they threw a few strawberries/blueberries in with the milk and called it a shake. The fries were cold and had been sitting out the entire time we were there. We waited 45 minutes for take out when there were only a few people there as customers. The fruit cup in the kids meal was inedible, the fruit looked like it had sat out all day. They never gave us the drink for the kids meal either.
For over $40+tip, it's absolutely ridiculous that this happened. We love cubby's, we frequent the Provo one. There was no adult working there that we could see, which easily could have accounted for some of the slowness, but we should not have had to wait for 45 minutes with how many people were working vs customers.
I highly doubt we will be coming back to this location again since we've had terrible experiences twice. I do not recommend this...
