Absolutely the WORST experience at Cribbs EVER! We arrived at 7:10 and after being seated waited 10 minutes to have our waitress come to our table. She was the most rude waiter I and my husband have ever experienced. Talked fast and quietly and when asked “what” would roll her eyes. We asked her what the gluten free options were (because my husband and I both have severe celiac disease and Cribbs doesn’t have a GF menu which is insane). She huffed, rolled her eyes, and said let me check. She came back with some options and my husband ordered the Jamie Poo burger with a gluten free bun and I ordered the Cobb salad with salmon. We waited 30 minutes for our meal and when the burger came out there were pieces of fried onion on the burger (so it was not made gluten free). We looked for our waitress but couldn’t find her and explained the issue to another employee. She spoke with her manger, apologized to us and said a new order was put in. Our ORIGINAL waitress NEVER apologized, or even brought up the issue. After waiting another THIRTY minutes the manager finally came with the new burger and apologized but did not even offer to take off the meal from our bill. The waitress came by after and grab my husbands water glass, filled it up with water, and slammed it down so hard water went everywhere and she did not even apologize. The next time she passed by we asked for the check and when she brought it she threw it on to the table and kept walking. I would have somewhat understood the rush had Cribbs been busy but they weren’t! It is not our fault we were born with Celiac Disease and should not feel like a burden because of our allergy! The fact that the manager did not even offer to remove something from our bill spoke enough words. 0/10 will...

So I ordered a Belly Dancer. I got it Medium Rare. When I got home my fries were soggy and cold. My burger was also cold. Apparently a burger takes 45 minutes to make incorrectly. I take a few bites and immediately notice something is off. I rip the burger in half and the entire center is still raw. So I called them back and got ahold of the manager. Instead of comping my order she decided that I could either drive all the way back up there and waste my time and gas/money or I could have a refund. Against my better judgement I chose to go pick up another burger. I ordered the burger cooked medium this time around. It was also ready in less than 10 minutes. I get home and cut the burger in half. It's practically grey inside. To top it all off the burger I took a bite of prior to the second made me sick and I spent the rest of my night throwing up. So I call again the next day, explain the situation and demand a refund. I'm told I'll get one. 9 days later there's no refund. I call AGAIN. I'm assured that I'll receive my refund this time and I receive another fake apology.

You're not sorry that I got sick. You're not sorry that you forgot to issue my refund. You're sorry that you got called out for flopping on something as simple as a hamburger. You're sorry that someone actually demanded their refund rather than let your "Restaurant" get away with food poisoning.

I'm genuinely curious. How is it that your chef is the fattest man in the building and doesn't understand how a hamburger is made properly.

This place is actual trash. 👌 I've had better food at the...

If I could give zero stars, I would. I visited Cribbs this evening with my parents and my 3-year-old son, and unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing from start to finish. First, our server was cold and unwelcoming. My son, who was very well behaved, waiting for his food and simply trying to be friendly to the waiter and he was ignored completely, which felt unnecessarily rude. Second, I placed my son's order early—along with our appetizers—to make sure it arrived in a timely manner. Not only did another table who arrived after us receive and finish their meals before us, but my son’s meal was also the very last thing brought out, even after all the adults had received their main courses. Third, there was a large bug in my salad. When we brought it to the server's attention, there was no apology or attempt to make it right, and shockingly, the salad remained on our bill. Lastly, we found a hair in our fries that appeared extremely unsanitary, like a pubic hair. Given the overall tone of the experience, it’s hard not to feel unsettled or believe this was just an "accident." Overall, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. I hope this review encourages management to take a closer look at quality control and customer service, because what happened tonight was completely...

As we sometimes do after church on Sunday, we decided to try something new for brunch so ventured into Spartanburg. Several months ago, my sister and I were going to try this place on a Friday night for dinner but the wait time was crazy so have been curious about giving it a try. We’re so glad we did as all four meals were delicious. My burger (topped with bacon and the creamiest blue cheese) was cooked to perfection and had to be one of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten. The Parmesan fries accompanying it were yummy and plentiful. The others tried handhelds and also had a different coffee drink with turmeric that they liked. My sister and her son-in-law loved their Philly Cribbsteak as did my niece with her Spring Street. Three of us had the Parmesan fries and one happily ordered the potato salad (so we could all taste it) which was really good. The burgers are as great as they look, if not better and everyone wants to go back for them. Our server was also excellent. I wish I remembered his name. I’ll add photos for sure next visit. The atmosphere wasn’t anything special but that’s not as important as the meals and the service imo. Edited: we came back to get burgers; they are THE BEST!!! When going out for a meal, we’re always talking about going to Cribb’s for burgers now.

This is my second visit to this establishment, it is another contribution by Cribb to the dining options in Spartanburg. I brought a guest here for a good downtown experience, and a restaurant with a solid menu for casual dining. More than a few salad options are available with many burger and sandwich selections, if you desire to go that route. That is the path I took for this visit. By the way, the burgers and sandwiches come with a selection from 7 sides. While my wife likes the smokey potato salad, I go for the sweet potato fries, which are quite good. I must add that we selected the roasted brussel sprouts as an appetizer. Excellent choice, and a must try dish. Although I selected a burger for a previous visit, I decided to sample the sandwich side of the menu featuring ingredients made in-house. I ordered the CK Cuban. The presentation was pleasing and the tasting did not disappoint. This Cuban version was consistent with what one would expect from a traditional version with minor Cribb tweaks that do not detract from the sandwich. I would definitely order it again. Service was present without being pushy. All in all a good dining experience and we look forward to tasting other offerings on the menu.

I had the opportunity to visit Cribbs Kitchen today with some friends, and we had a pleasant experience. It was surprisingly not busy on this 4th of July as we were seated at a corner table upon walking in. We started off with some deviled eggs that were near perfection. For my entree I chose the Hot Honey fried chicken sandwich with parmesan fries. I enjoyed both but, I would like to offer some constructive criticism. I could have used some more hot honey on the sandwich, and I didn't taste any Tabasco sauce on it. The chicken needed some salt and pepper in the batter. Overall, it was still a good sandwich. The fries were slightly overcooked and could also use some salt or garlic truffle oil. Oh, the dessert special of Carolina pie was a delicious blend of chocolate brownie, cheesecake, and strawberries, and was to die for. The burgers and wraps that my friends had all looked really good, and they praised there deliciousness. I look forward to my next visit, and you should plan a visit for yourself.
