I hate to write bad reviews, but this place was beyond disappointing and a major waste of money that I have no choice but to speak up. Overall, the food is a cheap quality food that is way overpriced and flavorless. Almost every item I had was extremely bland, except for the vegetables and jumbo shrimp. I ordered the red snapper which was rubbery and tough. The shrimp tempura was either extremely cheap or not even shrimp tempura at all, very bad. I also ordered the Spider roll in which the server forgot to bring it out so I had to flag down somebody just to get it but when they brought it out, it wasn’t even a spider roll. The staff and cooks clearly did not know the menu items. When I tried to tell the sever that I no longer wanted the roll since it was wrong and I was already done eating, the communication barrier was so bad that he brought it anyways so I was forced pay even though I said I didn’t want it. The service was very poor. Nobody checked on us and it was clear we were dissatisfied but yet no one asked or check in. If I needed anything I had to flag down someone myself because no one checked on us except taking our order and giving us the ticket. The atmosphere was very unpleasant as well. The lights kept flickering which was straining on the eyes and the overall vibe was good. Whenever we sent back the roll that was incorrect, the cooks laughed and made faces. It was just that overall very uncomfortable and dissatisfying. I paid $70 for my total meal but only enjoyed the jumbo shrimp and veggies because they were the only things that had good flavor. Sushi is great. However this is my 2nd time here with my friend and the customer service from two of the female servers was absolutely awful. Our server was the same as our first time here and she behaved the same both times. Barely checked on us and wasn’t around when we wanted to put another order in. My friend asked her to switch out the Diet Coke with a Coke and she took the Coke and didn’t bring her a new drink. She stood at the kitchen area but didn’t check. Over 10 minutes and then she finally walked to the back to bring the drink out. And some time later I wanted to put another order in and didn’t see our server at all so I asked another female server behind our table if she could help us out because our server was nowhere to be found. Well this other female server told us “I’ll get your server” and she never got our server nor did our server check on us. The server wasn’t busy. She was just standing around not checking on us. 20 minutes later she finally came up and said “need something?” We were trying to be patient but the place wasn’t busy at all nor was the server she was just not checking on us the entire time and at that point me and my friend were already over it and didn’t want to eat at this restaurant any further so we paid and left. We won’t be returning. The customer service from the two female servers was genuinely awful and it didn’t seem like they genuinely cared to serve us. I came in with high hopes, but the service was honestly terrible. I ordered a soda that was completely watered down, and when I asked for a new one, it took over 10 minutes to get it--despite staff standing around and clearly seeing me waiting. The replacement soda was even more watered down than the first. It looks like sweet tea.

No one checked on us again after that. Our server avoided eye contact and had an attitude the entire time. When we tried to order more food, she ignored us completely. We told another server what we wanted, and she said she'd let our server know--but nothing ever happened.

It was especially frustrating because the restaurant wasn't even busy. The table behind us was being constantly checked on, the staff were chatting with them, taking pictures, and giving them all the attention.

As women ourselves, it honestly felt like the female servers were deliberately ignoring us--almost like there was attitude involved for no reason. We were polite the entire time, so there was no excuse for that kind of behavior.

This made the entire experience uncomfortable and awkward. We won't be coming back, and I wouldn't recommend this place if you care about...
