I typically don't leave reviews because I'm in the service industry myself and often roll my eyes at reviews, but I had such a good experience I wanted to leave a 5-star review.
I moved to Tennessee a year ago and was driving back after visiting home in North Carolina with my cousin, and my cat that I was finally able to move with me after a year apart. Obviously I couldn't leave him in the hot car while we went to a fast food place to eat, so we looked up pet friendly places along our route for our day 1 stopping point and found that this place had a covered patio that allowed pets, and as it was a rainy day we were glad to find somewhere that shouldn't be affected by the weather.
I was still a little nervous since when places say "pet" friendly they really mean "dog" friendly, even if my cat would be in his carrier the whole time (which he was). But not only did the staff but the table next to be fawn over my boy, and a nice person at the table next to my cousin and I assured me my kitty would be fine in his carrier because they were here all the time and they "loooove pets here!"
Food was also good, but I would've eaten Anything to be able to eat somewhere on a road trip and bring my cat in his carrier outside of the hot car.
I'll absolutely recommend this place to anybody making the drive to and from Nashville or coastal NC with a pet, especially a kitty...
Read moreIf you're in the mood for a place that serves up slushies so good they make you question why you ever drank anything else, look no further than Main Street Pub. Their slushies are like a brain freeze in a cup – totally worth it. And let's talk about those nachos. They're the kind of nachos that make you want to send a thank-you note to whoever invented melted cheese. Plus, the service here is top-notch. Story, the manager, has a name that sounds like it belongs in a fairytale, and with her hospitality, she might as well be granting wishes.
And there's Ian..... bro's facial hair is so impressive, it's practically a map of its own, guiding lost souls to the promised land of great drinks and even greater banter. Ian's love for the Buccaneers runs deeper than Davy Jones' locker, and he'll regale you with tales of triumphs and heartbreaks between mixing your favorite drinks. So, if you're seeking a pint and a pirate's yarn, set sail for Main Street Pub, where Ian's beard and Buccaneer pride reign supreme.
All in all, if you're looking for a place where the drinks are icy, the food is cheesy, and the staff is legendary, Main Street Pub...
