It's got a gorgeous view and a very accommodating staff. I ordered the most expensive of the three steaks they had after a friend was raving about it and I can only agree. This was by far the most impressive steak I've ever had. Not in size, coming in at around 6 oz. But what's there is worth every bit of the price of admission. The steak alone to die for and will elicit strong positive feelings every time I remember it for years to come. It came with mashed potatoes and green beans, but I have never been a fan of green beans. The waitress suggested roasted zucchini or roasted mushrooms to take their place. I chose the mushrooms And it was a wildly remarkable choice. Even my partner who has no positive feelings about mushrooms, was dying for more when I shared one of mine. The mushrooms by themselves, even as a simple dish, could hold their own as a delicious meal. Paired with the steak, I could not be happier. The mashed potatoes were very good. By themselves not the best I've ever had, but when given the chance to soak up the juices of the steak and mushrooms, they became a perfect pairing to the rest of the meal and I could not have chosen better myself.
Me and my partner tasted three alcoholic beverages while we were here. The roasted pear martini and the lemoncello drop had a strong taste of alcohol and not much else. There was a peachy drop on their limited special menu that was suggested by the waitress and it was certainly a remarkable drink that blew the other two out of the water. I only wish I got more than a sip because I had already finished the entirety of my drink and I was the designated driver.
We finished off by sharing a slice of Peach Melba Creme Brulee Cheesecake. A quality cheesecake covered in fresh extremely well chosen peach slices and raspberries as well as a berry sauce I would cover every dessert I have for the rest of my life with.
The waitress was also very friendly and attentive. And reserving the reservation as our anniversary came with a very friendly Happy anniversary card greeting us on our table.
We will definitely be...
Read moreThis was our first visit to Anthony's! We were greeted by the host who upon learning it was our first time, gave us a great seat on the outside patio overlooking the falls on a gorgeous evening! He wanted our first experience to be memorable and it was!! We arrived at 5:15pm which also allowed us to choose from a sunset menu or the full menu. We selected the sunset which gave us 3 choices of appetizer, 3 of entree, and 3 of dessert for $28. The clam chowder soup was amazing and the Caesar salad was yummy too. Two of us got the silver salmon with baby shrimp which was outstanding and one got the salmon cakes which were also delicious but small. When asked how dinner was by our lovely waitress Jordan, we mentioned that the cakes were pretty small, but soooo good, it would be nice to have another. She agreed they were small and said she would see what she could do and low and behold after several minutes, out comes an extra single salmon cake. We were blown away! The dinner selections also came with rice and green beans which was perfect! The desserts were a treat! We chose the Bailey's mousse and the ice cream sundae! We also treated ourselves to a huckleberry (in season) cocktail. Those were delicious too and beautifully presented! I had huckleberry mojito and my husband had The huckleberry lemonade. The view was so pretty all evening as the sun set. Jordan was so personable with us, just delightful and the rest of the staff equally as attentive! It was a completely wonderful experience all the way around! I highly recommend and would do this again! The sunset menu (3-5:30) and view were perfect: price point, less crowded, and viewing of the falls and park as the sun goes down and the lights come on! Just loved this experience. Thank you Jordan and the team of staff that...

After I left my initial review Anthony's reached out to me and offered to bring me back so they could fix where they went wrong. I finally was able to go back last night 4/23/21. This time I had oysters, and Scampi Prawns. The plating was much better then the first time I visited. The oysters and their pairing were very tasty. The prawns were cook just right and the asparagus was good. The mash potatoes were just ok. We had the Baileys Irish Mousse for dessert and it was good, but had that alcoholic taste to me so it wasn't my favorite. My husband had the Halibut he said it was ok nothing life changing.
Overall, I really appreciate and respect Anthony's bring me back out and making things right and giving me another chance to try their food. I updated my 2 stars to a 4 stars. While they have great ambiance as a restaurant overlooking the falls and good plating, I'm just not in love with their food. I definitely liked the food though I just didn't love it. Well deserved 4 stars. Thank you once again Anthony's for bringing me back.
We came here on Valentine's Day. I was super excited since COVID has put a damper on dining out here in WA. The view was nice of the falls, but when I got my entrée I was so disappointed. Firstly, just look at the plating. As a $54 dollar plate I expect some sort of razzle dazzle, but instead it looked slopped on the plate. The steak was ok nothing special. It was really chewy. Lobster was good. Veggies and mash weren't memorable so they were probably just ok if I don't remember them. Overall my plate was disappointing. Not sure if...
