Shutters Café — Restaurant in Spokane

It is an average hotel breakfast lunch type of restaurant, next to and open to the lobby. I am not being negative nor am I recommending you avoid the restaurant. If you are staying at the hotel and are in a hurry, or do not feel like venturing out to find another restaurant, by all means eat there. It is the average hotel fair and I'm sure you will find something you will like. But does it stand out against other restaurants as having a unique menu or environment? No it does not. Inside of the DoubleTree, but much better experience than you would expect from a hotel. Large seating area, service was superb, and we were in and out quickly. I got the breakfast trio, 2 eggs, bacon, and 4 slices of French toast. Eggs over easy, cooked perfectly, yolks runny, bacon was crispy but not overcooked, and the French toast was light and fluffy. I was amazed by how good the breakfast was. I ordered a riverfront omelet and it was one of the best omelets I have ever had. Pair that with having top notch friendly service. Sandy was so sweet, attentive, and professional. She is incredible at her job!
