Denny's — Restaurant in Spring

I'm a gig-worker. I run some of the delivery apps. Tonight, I'm running Door Dash, and we park in our usual spot at the Spring Ih-45 Denny's parking lot. I'll preface this by saying I wear a chest compressor, and I'd been wearing it for a while, so it was getting a little difficult to breathe so I decide to go into the restroom to remove it before ordering. I head inside the restroom, take it off, I come out and go back outside to my car to put the compressor up then get my wallet when I hear someone behind me. The manager (an older lady with a high brown ponytail and a pink polo shirt) and a man came chasing after me but had stopped at some distance and were yelling at me. We were next to the freeway so I couldn't hear them, but they scared the heck out of me. I sit in my car for a moment thinking, no, they weren't talking to me. Were they? I finally get the courage to get my wallet and go in to order when the manager sees me at the register waiting. She walks over, does not say hello, does not ask me what I'd like to order, asks me instead, "Did you steal something from our restroom?" I have never in my life been accused of stealing much less from a restroom. I realized she had seen me walk out with my binder folded over my arm and I responded, "My binder?" She looks at me confused and asks, "Your binder?" I said, "My chest binder?" Because I'm just confused what a small, narrow, folded tank-top style binder could equate to from the bathroom. She stops talking, doesn't even apologize, so I just pay for a drink. She goes and gets it, still didn't apologize. I return to the car upset, because this has never happened before, and I've been going to this Denny's for 20 years (though I'm not sure I'll be back, not to this location anyway.) So, I grab my binder and go back in and show her in front of other customers which was humiliating, but she was pretty sure I was a thief, and I was going to show her I was not, and I say, "I just wanted you to see for yourself, I want you to see I'm not a thief. I'm just trans." She smiles at me and says, "Okay then." Still no apology. You don't treat customers this way, she just decided I was a thief because she saw me walk out of the restroom with a shirt over my arm. Shame on her. I'll be calling corporate as soon as the sun...

I have eaten here several times and every time it gets worse and worse. The last 2 times I ordered the Mediterranean chicken. The first time I got the chicken it came out tough as leather, I couldn't NOT CUT it at all!!! . It was like eating really bad chicken jerky! So I sent it back because it was not edible. They remade it and the second time it was cooked a little better but the chicken was freezer burnt ..like really bad. I told the manager it was bad and she only gave 1/2 off my meal .what a joke! I told them they needed to throw out the chicken and buy fresh chicken because it was bad. I decided to give them another try.. I went back tonight and guess what ?! The chicken was freezer burnt again! No managers or waiters to be seen, the waiter never came to check on us , no refills, nothing! The waiter finally came AFTER we ate ( I only ate because I had not eaten all day and I was starving ) He asked how it was so I told him that the chicken was freezer burnt and that the manager should know . He apologized, went to talk to her and she avoided me like the plague! No one came back to our table so we went to the front . Well the waiter showed back up to get paid. I told him I wanted to talk to the manager, she was standing near the kitchen and refused to talk to me . I asked the waiter " does she not want to talk to me or what ?" He went to talk to her, she didn't come to chat. He said "She heard you" . So he rang up our food and she didn't deduct ANYTHING from our bill this time ! I told the waiter we will not be back . You would think that a restaurant that has been open for so many years would have better quality food. If the food was good then they would be busy . This location is always dead and always bad. My husband's food wasnt good either but I wont bore you with all that . I will be making a call to corporate and the health inspector tomorrow! Within an hour of eating I am now...

It was good food great environment only thing is the waitress kept trying to rush us and kept interrupting while we were trying to visit. She was very attentive but at the same time kinda intrusive in our conversation kept making comments about y wasn't I eating and I should talk less and eat my food and I was eating but I have some dental issues right now so I can't eat too fast or I will literally start choking where the food gets lodged in my throat cutting my air ways to breathe and I can drink too try to get it to go down but it will only make it come back up and I really didn't feel like getting sick and causing a scene there where small kids didn't want to freak them out cause everyone was having a good time with the people they were there with. I just kept telling her I was eating but she said I wasn't eating fast enough and then all of a sudden she pops up with the ticket and to go boxes and still made a last remark about me not eating hardly anything. So I had finally had enough and as politely as I could biting my tongue I told her well it's kinda hard to eat as fast as you wanted me to when I have dental issues right now that don't allow me to eat at normal pace I have to take my time. And she got quiet and then said ohh I didn't know and I said you also didn't ask you just kept making rude comments.
