Rudy's "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q — Restaurant in Spring

If you haven't been here before, it's good to know that you order the meat by the half pound, grab the cold sides from the fridge in S/M/L containers, and order the hot sides at the register also as a S/M/L. They can be individual or for sharing as it's family style. You are given your food in a tray at the register and then go to the topping stand for peppers, onions, pickles, silverware, table paper, and napkins. You can grabbed bottled soda, water, or beer from the open ice coolers along the way to the register or buy a fountain drink. For seating, there are family booths and large bench tables. There are highchairs if needed. You serve yourself and clean up after yourself.

The food is delicious and always cooked well. Both the regular and moist brisket are delicious. The moist brisket is a lot fattier of a cut. Other things we've tried and really liked are the pulled pork and smoked turkey. The baked beans (Rudy's beans) have a tiny kick to them and are flavorful. The new potatoes will be absolutely swimming in butter if you say yes to having it added on top, so be prepared. I will never order takeout from this location ever again… I ordered over $100 worth of food and because they packaged everything wrong the grease broke the paper bag they supplied and the food got all over my seats of my car! When I called back the restaurant I was on hold for almost 45 minutes until I reached a manager. When I talk to the manager about the issue and the damage that was done to my vehicle, they literally wanted to give me a credit to the restaurant instead of helping me get my car detailed for the negligence that was caused, i’ve literally got my car detailed twice and I’m not able to get the grease out of my seats so now I have to get all my seats reupholstered Which is going to cost me even more money than what I paid for in the food I ordered here. My family and I have gone to this restaurant for years since we moved here, it’s decent food but however it’s terrible customer care and there’s no accountability. This visit was no different than any of the previous visits. I asked for one thing, and they yelled back their "this is walmart, we have what you see." Key Frase. I told them very Specifically I wanted Only the Outside cut, The bark and make it as lean as you can. I also told them not to cut in. I only want the bark.

Not only did they ignore my request. They wanted to make a scene and have the entire line of customers galk at me along with the staff.
