I’m not usually the type to write a review but this places service was just awful. We arrived on a Sunday and were delighted to see a ā€œsports grillā€ so close to our hotel. We popped on over to catch a game and were told by the manager behind the bar that they were a sports grill but they don’t subscribe to sports channels. Just basic TV. That my friends is called a ā€œgrillā€ not a ā€œsports grillā€. Oh well, we’re hungry so we stick around anyways. The food was mediocre. Decent sweet potato fries. We ask our server a simple question about Zions and his response is that he doesn’t know anything about the place and if we wanted information we should ask a local or go to the visitors center. He seemed very put out. Ok odd. He’s a server there. Guess we shouldn’t have made such a crazy assumption that he was a local or perhaps knew the name of a popular hike or something. We pay, we leave. Tonight, being tired from a long day, I though it convenient to drop in and order something to carry out. Having forgot my mask, I walked in with my mouth and nose completely covered by my t-shirt. I kindly ask if i could just place a quick order and wait outside for my food. The hostess said sure let me bring you out a menu, while the manager behind the bar yells from the distance to go outside because I didn’t have a formal mask. Mind you, 4 women at a table 5 feet from where I am standing all with no masks on, but this man is angry that I’m covering my face with my t-shirt. So I go outside to wait for the hostess to bring me a menu. She then comes out to tell me that the manager will not serve us a take out order because I didn’t come in with a mask. Lame Sir! You are the beneficiary of being close to bits and spurs and catching their overflow of people who don’t want to wait to get in. And you still can’t afford ā€œsports channels.ā€ People can get better food and better service at Oscars down the street. ā€œJack’s Sports Grillā€ will be known to us from this point on as...

Recently went to jacks for a To go meal (pastrami burger with Mozzarella sticks ). Presentation looked great! Was excited and thought this would be good. After looking at the burger- half lb slab of meat, one piece of pastrami and the rest of the topping. Can’t say it was all that good. Little to no flavor. Could barely taste the pastrami, lots of mayo ( the bun was sliding off because it had so much) and nothing else. The bun was a good bun. I would rather have this bun then most because it held together and didn’t fall apart while eating. If the Rest of the burgers are like this, i would choose Oscar’s cafe over jacks. Oscar has better flavors and more food.

Staff - Staff not very friendly but one. I entered and was greeted with a head down. Can I order a to go, at the bar she pointed. I walked to bar and waited my turn. Order was taken by the staff member at the bar. She Smiled a couple of times and went about her business. Not one other staff asked if I was ok or needed a drink of water or said a word. Kinda looked bothered all to be working. Just working to work is all I thought. Not busy at all. Not that busy at all for a restaurant. I did over hear a server complain that he had to go out side to serve people. 🫣😄. Todays weather was awesome, I would sit outside too.

Over all, I would go Oscar’s cafe if you want friendly staff, yummy food and a...

Boy were we wrong about what we thought this place would be. After a day of hiking in Zion, we thought this would be the perfect end to our day, a few drinks and some much needed relaxing dinner. It was pretty busy when we came in, and initially we were seated pretty quickly, but that's where the positives ended.

The service was very slow, it seemed our server would forget about us (the place isn't that bjg). When we finally got our drinks, they were pricy and watered down. Given we were seated near the bar (everyone is, it's a small place), the entire meal was dominated by the bartender (maybe owner) telling his life story to every new person who would sit down and order a drink, this is in spite of the fact that the room was filled with people having their own conversations--the only voice we heard was the bartender's.

The food was just ok, and really the ambiance was so bad, we just wanted to drink our watered down drinks, eat our Denny's level food, and get the hell out of there. It looks so nice and welcoming from the outside, our experience was anything but that on the inside. Hit the road Jack, I won't be coming back no more, no...

We had the pleasure of staying at the hotel and calling jacks our local for two days. The food was really good! Those potato skins were next level! I’m still thinking about them! We had Stephanie serve us for both days and she was an absolute delight! Service and conversation was awesome. She really made us feel at home in the strange to use state of Utah. The second day we had the pleasure of Justin join in our conversation. They really made our stay in Springdale welcoming. If we ever come back to spring day we will def be returning. People remember the liquor laws are not the staffs rules they are state rules. We seriously saw so many ppl abuse the staff here when they had to inform them that they had to eat if they wanted a drink. Jacks is a restaurant licensee! Even I. Canada in a rest establishment you must eat to drink alcohol. Be kind this isn’t their rules! Thanks for being awesome! All our food was awesome except the onion rings. They were too cooked. But the rest was delicious… we just had appies!

Pretty good food and service if you temper your expectations and treat the establishment as what it is, a sports bar. We had the jalapeno poppers, chicken quesadilla, and bratwurst. The jalapeno poppers were definitely frozen, but nevertheless good enough with what seemed to be a homemade jalapeno ranch dressing. The chicken quesadilla was the best dish, but also the most fail proof to make. The chicken was tender, and the quesadilla contained chopped sweet peppers, onions, and oozed with cheese. The bratwurst was probably the worst item, but still not all that bad for bar food. At first glance, I was disappointed to see it served on oversized sandwich bread, instead of the bun. The bun ended up being a pleasant surprise, and better than expected. The bratwurst itself was not great. It tasted like a cheap grocery store brat and was relatively small, but it was saved by the piles of chopped onions and peppers cooked in beer on top. I probably would not order this item again.

We had a late lunch/early dinner here after checking in to our hotel. We chose it for the menu and walking distance from our hotel. We were not disappointed. Our server, Justin, was great and the food/drinks were all wonderful. Husband ordered Belching Beaver Peanut Butter Stout and really enjoyed it. I went with a classic gin and tonic. Prices were very reasonable on both the drinks and food. I had a cheese steak sandwich šŸ˜‹ and husband ordered the BBQ Heavenly Hog šŸ˜‹. We ate until we couldn't. The food and service were both excellent and because of this we will definitely return. Thank you, Justin! UPDATE: We came back a second night and enjoyed the brisket and bison burger. The Liquid Marijuana drink was delicious. They were busy but the service was still awesome. šŸ˜‹
